I love FM fragrances for the most part and this is obviously a masterpiece, because so many people say it is, but it gives me a headache, and it gives off strong masculine to me. I really wanted to love it but I just don’t. I guess I will just be, a “music for a while” girl forever. Obviously, there are a few others that I love “Carnal flower” in my opinion being one of the best fragrances ever created. I can’t wear it all the time because it can be really offensive to some noses. As a matter fact can trigger a migraine for me if I am on the edge. But my husband loves it. It’s his favorite!
Portrait of a Lady seems to get so much hype and I don’t think it is anything special, but I would take it over samples of Musc Ravageur and French Lover, that are absolutely horrible. Frederic Malle doesn’t do it for me. Maybe I just don’t like the strong rose.
