I’m really having some 10/10 full body pain when a guy says fragrance is just about getting laid like 30 times a minute. For me it’s so much more and 80% of why I use cologne is for myself actually. Smelling a good scent on myself gives me a boost of confidence and ease.

And most women love it because its not a " Giving me headache strong scent" but its soo clean and long lasting . It may not stand out now but Man its such a great investment !

  • @internetkilledtv5

There's thing I learned from fragrances is that it's not about what the fragance can do for you. Yes, fragance can end up being overdone and no longer attractive but it doesn't mean you don't have to use them. Also Don't let others on this platform influence your purchase on a fragrance. I was always hesitant to purchase Terre D'hermes since everyone I know and on TH-cam made seem like it's meant for an older person. But every time I get my nose on a Terre D'hermes it gets me confident and feeling great. Contrary to popular belief Sauvage and Aventus never really attracted to me like almost everyone has. But that's Okay. Like me I like Layton and Layton Exclusif more than those two yes completely different fragrance. I'm going on a tangent here basically what I'm saying is it's harsh to say stoo using these fragrances. Fragrances are not a trend they don't cone and go. Sauvage, Aqua Di Gio profromo, Bleu de Chanel, YsL Y, and Prada Luna Rosa Carbon. All have in common is they a very straightforward fragrance that have different ways they use each note break down but all smell pretty much the same and very mass appealing.

I literally decided on these three. Chanel Bleu because it's fresh and citrusy; something you can wear when you want to smell great but not be too forward. Versace Eros because it's pretty much the complete opposite; really sweet, powerful and in your face, but it also has a very nice undertone which you can smell better after wearing it a few hours. Finally Dior Sauvage because it is somewhere in between the Chanel and Versace in terms of aggressiveness. I'd say it's a classic scent that comes at you pretty strong but isn't too in your face.

Not to be a smart Alec..,, but I figured the bottom would wear women’s cologne and the top wore men’s smh idk ..... I never broached the subject before tbh. Again, not a jab. I dunno if u are a more north or south guy, and I dunno if that would affect which scents you put off.
Ya know? Like ya both can’t wear some Musky manly a** stuff because usually you don’t have a manliest competition between two gay guys. Am I wrong? Asking for a friend.

My replacements for all of Jose suggestions:
    1. YSL Y eau de parfum
    2. Mancera Cedrat Boise
    3. Jesus del Pozo Halloween Man X
    4. wouldn't replace Acqua di Gio profumo but a great alternative could be Bentley for Men Silverlake
    5. Amouage Reflection Man
    6. Armani Stronger With You
    Bonus:
Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme (versatile freshie) and Lalique Encre Noire a L'Extreme (for people who like dark and mysterious fragrances)

IMO it's better to have only a couple of colognes, one for summer "light, easy going vibe" and one for masculine " suav " scent. If you have multiple scents you aren't getting the most powerful thing about scent which is nostalgia. If you have 1-2 scents she recognizes just from you she is going to think of you and correlate the smell with you. If you have too many scents she's just going to think you smell good without the nostalgia.
