- On this weeks episode of JAKES CHOP SHOP we do a makeover on a 1970 ford fairlane and make it into an ultimate patina cruiser plus we smooth and paint another VL ENGINE BAY.

Great work mate. Just goes to show that with a little bit of nowse and good eye for detail that you can get the baller results without going the whole hog. Ripper vid as usual 🤙🏻
The Fairlane is a ZC model going by the grille and tail lights. The 351 version had 351 badges on the front fender/guard as opposed to just a V8 badge for the 302 models. That's a cool Fairlane to own. Great episode Jake, thanks for sharing.

Great stuff bud , with the fairlane door repair ( I'm assuming it's an acrylic on the car ) what did you use for the repair 2k or 1k ?? If 2k how do you go about doing 2k over the existing paint if it's acylic ?? Am in the middle of doing a few things on my old boys stato amd wanting to do some repairs on it but I'm guessing it's acrylic paint as it was repainted back in the mid 80's cheer mate keep up the great work 👍

I can’t weld and am going to pay someone to do rust repairs, about to the extent of what’s on that fairlaine-what’s a round about cost of that type of patch repair-say per hour?
Is that a copper plate that you put behind when welding the spot holes?
