Really, the only tricky part about uploading the actual 'how it should have sounded' bit is that it opens the door for the copyright owners of the actual song to claim ownership of the video, and possibly take it down for infringement. I've already rolled this dice in putting a few too many seconds of a Jamiroquai song in one of my videos, and I'm just being careful because I don't want to lose this channel thanks to YT being selective and weird.
I mean... Saying that he's removing a defence means you think ignorance is a defence. At least this guy is providing some value while being wrong, you're just being wrong with no redeeming qualities.
