Mark Lamarr heads up an Intros round featuring music from famous adverts, culminating in a recurring reference to the old Hamlet Cigar ads. He keeps bringing this back in intentional AND unintentional moments of failure.

What's this Mark is smoking. A cigarette that you can legally buy in shops.
I'm shocked and appalled.
Down with Thatcher
what will he do next?
@@dave101t Did his helmet turn blue??
it's a Cigar isn't it
Mark Lamarr is a comedy legend, he has been brilliant in every show he has ever been in. Never Mind The Buzzcocks with Mark is definitely one programme that I'd watch again and again.
Carrie Grant looks stunning with that cigar at the end
didn't think she could be anymore gorgeous, proven wrong
On Phil's team, that's Asher D.
He was in Grange Hill, and he's one of these, uh, these rappers they have now, the rap singers. I don't know if you've seen them?
I think I have seen them. The rappers. On the errr, the top of the pops
@@jonnydijon2060 Yeah you've seen 'em. They're usually by the corn exchange aren't they?
@@Boxyno1 That's right, round the back of the multistorey
@@jonnydijon2060 They go like 'that', don't they?
@@Boxyno1 On a lot of the adverts now they might have a rap singer. There's a sausage or something and they'll rap about it.
Mark lamarr is handsome
Nicola Webb truth
Always looks like a Kray to me.
he's a greasy 50s conman
Definitely a gorgeous fella .
For sure a handsome fella
Don’t give Bill Bailey a patronising handclap!
fantastic, when TV used to be good
That's wild that he's actually smoking on TV. Couldn't get away with this now
Seems more fitting for Bill to be smoking a pipe instead.
The music os from a cigar advert, so it would have not made sense in the context of being a 'hamlet moment'
Several reasons, you couldn't get away with this today.
I miss this so much such a great show loke they think it's all over and have i got news for you. The best pannel comedies of all time
@@davidmarchant9386 Wow. That was a disaster of a comment.
I bet you think spell check was a Russian ballet dancer.
Or "Bah ley danncer", as you might say.
@@wholeladalovenorthernireland get over yourself it isn't a test ! what is pathetic is you triggered by a comment from 2 years ago get a life
Brilliance... You can't do anything like that anymore. Sad times
Haha you'd never get away with this now. Classic.
No it was a Hamlet not a Classic
Mostly because of the smoking ban.
@@johnclark448 truly underrated joke
Can't do any of this show any more - the smoking, the ribbing, the accents, the comedy.
This was obviously filmed before the smoking ban, which makes me sad for today cos they wouldn't even be able to film this as a joke because "aww it encourages kids to smoke!" This was probably only done 13 years ago and already I think it was the good old days! Sad! Good comedy clip though!!!!
Performers are allowed to circumvent the ban as it can be part of their act.
How embarrassing that we couldn't make this joke now days
5fps nice
Could hear the snowflakes now
Crass.
It's really not
You sound like fun.
Trance State booooooo, you’re not coming to my party mate
You should BAN it. Have it BANNED. BAN IT ALL.
