Manure Fertilization and Formulating Feed for Pig Husbandry | Carpathian Farm | FS 22 | Timelapse#27

Welcome back to the Carpathian Countryside Farm Timelapse. We commence our agricultural operations by connecting a CASE IH Speed-Tiller 465 disc harrow to a CASE IH Steiger tractor and assigning a hired worker to cultivate the field post-corn harvest. Concurrently, we actively participate in the sale of our final products, including chocolate from our dairy, canola oil from our vegetable oil plant, and sugar for chocolate production.
Now, our focus shifts to ensuring a steady supply of fodder for cow feed production. We distribute silage, hay, and straw, while recognizing the need to fertilize our fields. Leveraging the opportunity to utilize manure from the barn, we acquire a SAMSON US 235 Dynamic spreader trailer and employ it alongside a CASE IH Magnum 340 tractor to evenly spread manure across the fields.
When planning to start raising pigs, we acknowledge the necessity of preparing a robust food supply. To achieve this, we initiate the in-house production of feed. Using a VOLVO L180H wheel loader, we load essential ingredients such as canola, corn, and beets into the production bin. The only missing component is barley, which prompts us to harvest our ripe barley field using a JOHN DEERE X9 1100 combine. Simultaneously, we invest in a new CASE AFS Connect Steiger tractor and a UNVERFERTH 1620 loader trailer.
The initial harvest of barley grains is transported to storage, where it is loaded into a receiving hopper for the subsequent production of pig feed.
