The 240RS was very popular over here for a few years but never really bettered the Manta 400 . Stunning collection , especially the Colemam replica. I seem to recall that in the Group 1 rally days, the cars had to have the rear seats in place.
Avenger tiger ? ,possibly a 1725 Holbay lump ? . My first car was a series 6 Chrysler avenger them were the days. They certainly have some beautiful toys to play with.Awesome series of videos so far Marcus cracking job lad 👍🇬🇧
@@patm8622 sooooo after a bit of reading allegedly the tiger was a 1500cc and I remember now my neighbour gave me my Avenger as a 17th birthday present and he had the hillman hunter with the 1725 engine and said the holbay would go well in the avenger. Good memories….. when I remember them 🤦♂️
@@andyhopkinson2708 the Brazilian I know of was a 1.8, seem to recall they were used in some versions of the Avenger/ Chrysler 180. A pal had an ex works Lotus recce car that had been fitted with one. It wasn't as quick as the 2.0 pinto in the modified classes of the mid/ late 1980s.

Toyota starlets of the age and earlier were prime to put ford running gear in, they took on the escorts at the uk and ireland oval race venues and were a weapon, many of the oval cars ended up as semi space framed, red top vauxhall suited them well.

That white rs2000 is the stuff dreams are made of, it's unfair for me to single one car out of that line up because they are all stunning but that car is serious looking. The avenger is epic too, where you out in it at all and if so what was your impression? Johnny Smith LBS did a feature on one in Scotland in same livery and raved about it.
Datsun was the name that Nissan gave their cars when they were first being sold in new markets, so if the punters thought it was crap, it wouldn't hurt the Nissan brand, so a Datsun is a Nissan anyway.
