Very nice and informative video. Thank you for this explanation and function of ETC. Changed a many of them over the years, but never completely knew the safeguards built into them. Knew they had to be there, but never had it explained. Kudos !
Very interesting analysis. I have a dso212 channel that I've been playing around with. Neat little tools. I really enjoy your scope vids. They've helped me gain confidence in scopes and automotive electrical diag. I just performed my first cam crank correlation pre/post repairs using my hantek 1008. I determined my cams were advanced and the diag was verified(found a broken chain guide). Thx for sharing. Cheers
I see you've put the "cat-scan" on sleep mode on the couch 😂. Could you do a vpeker software presentation? I'm interested in the live data section, does it have bidirectional control? I want a decent windows based scan tool without spending excessively. Basically I have a dedicated laptop for the new scope and would be nice to have a scanner attached to it to check raw vs read data...you get the point. Thanks!!
Yes I get the point. I have a dedicated small windows notebook for the same reason. Scope, scanner & manuals. It has very limited bidirectional control. I am not sure it’s still on the market. Here’s the video from a few years ago…. th-cam.com/video/strr2Z0L4Ho/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eJRqBYUFRZdetFZm
@@TheGibby3340 yes exactly. I have some cheap windows options like autocom, Delphi and WOW (wurth) of course clones. The wow is okish because it has some technical data inside, but for live data you can only do 1 pid at the time... I'll check your video, already done some research and indeed it seems to be unavailable (for a reasonable price). Wanted to see other options before shooting the gun for a bosch kts system... Texa is way above my budget, so is hella gutmann. By the way...I bought the MTPro scope. It's available for sale now. Do some research...it's a serious tool at an excellent price!

Thx Alex. I will check that scope out. 👍🍻
@@TheGibby3340 I'm sure you could do some good tutorials on it. There is a lack of info about them 😉
Where did you purchase yours from Alex? If you don’t mind me asking.
