Today at Disneyland Haley decided to dress like Princess Leia. While we in tomorrow land we saw a couple of Stormtroopers and she wanted to get a photo with them… well they had another idea! They decided to capture her and take her in!! On no!!

I've seen some people say " I wish the storm troopers could actually interact normally with people " but if you ask me, I think it's better when they are in character. It'd be kind of boring if a storm trooper came up and say " hello how has your day been? Have you enjoyed the park? "

@@LemonTwist- I don't think that's pre recorded I had a head piece in my imperial stormtrooper armor that made me sound like the movies so do many members of the 501st legion if we have that imagine what Disney puts into their costumes
I went to Disney a few years ago the day I went to Hollywood studios I wore my whites, one of the stormtroopers (who knows maybe was one of these 2) saw me stopped saluted and then said thanks for my service. Of course the next 2 I ran into arrested me under believe I was a resistance pilot due to my aviator wings :p . its the F18 or TIE fighter for me nothing else will do ;)
She walked down the street with as much poise and dignity as Carrie Fisher herself. You go, Mini Leia!

@@nunyabusiness2597 in FL during the summer the cast take breaks every couple of hours to cool down on black flag days (90 or higher) they go in every 30 min from what I was told by one of the staff there when I went a few years ago

The Star Wars cast at both parks are great. I went to SW Weekends down in Orlando after the Celebration was over and I was wearing a General Hux custom everyday coat, approached a couple troopers and said "Halt, troopers! What is your operating number? Are you designated for this area of operation?" and they replied "Uh... uh... Yes, sir! Sir! , sir!" and I nodded approvingly and replied "Carry on, troopers" and they went about on their patrol.
Seeing stuff like this makes me wanna go work at Disneyland so bad

At Disney land Florida do the Storm Troopers do they only allow having photos taken with anyone on Only special events just wondering cause I asked them for a photo when they were walking past there said sorry no we can’t not sure if it’s cause they can’t rn or they don’t do it anymore it was last year

It would be better if they didn't use prerecorded lines and instead installed a microphone in the helmet to give the voice effect so that people in the Trooper costumes could react to people like the child dressed as Leia....

Second, kids under 14 can wear costumes in the parks. My daughter who is 10 WORE (past tense of wear) a Princess Leia costume at StarWars Land....so????
