Eris made one massive mistake, and it was thinking she was good enough at writing to leave a letter instead of just waking up in the morning and telling Rudeus that she felt like she wasn't good enough for him as she was and that she wanted to train. Of course if that happened we wouldn't have the ED Arc of Rudeus going to Ranoa and best girl Sylphy might not have met Rudy again for many years.
Doesn't forgive what Eris did by a long shot but I think half the reason she didn't face him directly was... well, two reasons. First, she would've wavered. She knew she was emotional, felt like she knew what needed to be done but didn't know if she could go through with it if she had to tell Rudeus directly. In a sense it was her running away from the struggle of telling him what needed to be said.
The second bit being that Rudeus was a bit too good at smooth talking and getting people to do what he wanted for his own good. It was the whole reason Paul knocked him out when he first sent Rudeus off to the Boreas household - in his own words (I think, it's been a while) Paul refused to have the conversation with Rudeus since he was absolutely convinced that his son would be able to talk him out of it. I wouldn't doubt it for a moment if Eris had that same thought when she resolved to go train with Ghislaine's master.
Again, doesn't excuse what Eris did by a long shot and she should absolutely be held accountable for the emotional damage she inflicted on someone she claimed to care about - ultimately the way she went about it and her reasons for doing so were beyond selfish since it was more about how she felt than it being about Rudy. BUT I sort of get what was going on in her head when she did it and I could see where that line of thought came from.
Eris is just pissed because she is told the truth, that's why she is a stupid husband but rudy loves her like that so is all good

You gotta remember, that during this time, Eris is one of the best fighters in the whole canon at this point. She could steal Ghislaine's title anytime she wants, but she's currently preoccupied. They call her "Sword King" for a reason. This all the more highlights Sara's courage (or audacity for that matter) during this confrontation.

rudues help her party to cross the border,they set 2 separate camp sara's party and rudeus/eris camp. rudues is in guard duty and sara too, sara gives rudues a ginger tea and they have deep talk about their futures(sara find a man,rudeus settle in for good) sara feel too comfortable to rudeus. Before they parted ways sara told rudeus if he tried to seduce her that night, there is a chance she might give in..

Second, while Eris took responsibility all her life to compensate Rudy in all the years she was with him after understanding her mistake, Sara instead only committed herself in word when she did it and didn't make any personal sacrifice for Rudy (like based on the feelings she confessed to him, she had to leave her group of adventurers and follow Rudy even if it was against her will); in the end Sara was very weak, she only committed herself in word and didn't atone for her sins by acknowledging her mistake... worse, she preferred to run away or continue with her life with a simple friendship that in the end didn't contribute anything to Rudeus apart from criticizing the one she shouldn't criticize.

It's ironic that the girl who left Rudeus most traumatized by his impotence problem by rejecting him outright in bed before having sex, instead of trying to understand him (although it's true that she was drunk) and then out of pure pride of her own has made him feel more miserable than he was until his departure to Ranoa (treating him like shit), is complaining to Eris for just a misunderstanding (even though it was what caused the whole problem)... you have to be very hypocritical, honestly, I think that of all the women who have surrounded Rudeus, Sara is the least indicated to complain to Eris (Soldat was the only one with the moral authority to tell Eris the painful truth at that moment).
In the end, I think that Sara's complaint is more due to the internal rage she has towards Eris for indirectly sabotaging her attempt at a love relationship (due to the issue of impotence) than empathy for Rudeus. She deserves not to have been part of Rudeus' harem, although the main culprit is herself for not having been totally honest with Rudy after their meeting before the one described in this video (which was when he was only married to Silphy and Roxy); since despite telling him that she had feelings for him, she did not dare to abandon her life as an adventurer to follow him (I'm sure Rudy would have accepted her if she had shown more loving determination with him), as Eris did later to help Rudy with Orsted. Sara's karma was not only the rejection after her effort to get away from other men waiting for Rudy (not for nothing her group of adventurers was only women), but also ending up with a man a thousand times less distinguished than the Greyrat and being only an inn waitress.
