Freight train carrying potato

I will introduce freight train that transport potatoes this time.
It's running from Obihiro freight station in Hokkaido to Kumagaya terminal in Saitama prefecture only in fall.
I can shoot it at Omiya station in Saitama city.

The Long Island Railroad,back in the days of steam,and some diesels,used to run solid potato trains out of Suffolk County points! Those trains could run up to 100 reefers[refrigerator cars],in a normal consist! Nice that Japanese railroads keep up the tradition! Really excellent video,and those railfans,must be destroying the platforms,with all that weight! Lol!! Having done my share of that platform photography,it great to share the information and inspiration!! Thank you 😇 😊!!

Thank you for your comment. I'm glad to hear that. N scale is very popular in Japan. But, it's very expensive. Therefore, adults buy it. But, It's fun to recreate.
