Brilliant, Johnathan thank you, sometimes I don't get a chance to practice or play on a course, so when I have a chunk of time away from golf, of course, I'm always in a rush with everything in life lol, I'm from New York, enough said. after a range session without stretching or warmup, the next couple of days after practice my right bicep, my lower right forearm is so sore I can barely straighten it, this video was such an eye opener for me, I'm so right arm dominant its insane, i always think my body will figure the right movement out because I'm a pretty decent Athlete, but to see this video and how the lead arm works was absolutely incredible for me, I jump up and practice what you showed us to do, and what a differnt feeling , I'm blown away, cant wait to practice and put it to work . thank you again. This video is a year old, but things come into our lives when it's time for me to learn that , we can never control the outcome, just the effort.
Thank you for taking the time to do this video. I own a HM and as confused as I was when watching your detailed explanation of what was happening, it all came together at the end. I will watch this again and hopefully learn as I try and practice with the device.
It’s more of a straight back, up, and downward move than a loop feel but that was pretty well done. The turn is where you imagine the loop. If you think of a loop feel you might get into trouble keeping the clubhead too far outside your hands. Then you’re too steep and probably flipping.
In my opinion yes. It is the only way to see what your wrists are doing during your swing, but I am still working on drills to make it really worth the money. Watch this space😉
@@JonathanTaylor63 it’s over €400 so I wouldn’t mind a loan or even rent one for about 3 months and then decide if it’s worth buying. I’ll stay tuned for more of your videos and explanations though. You managed to explain a difficult drill very well Jon. Kept up the good work.
Hackmotion are working on a solution for both hands which is obviously a software solution because you can wear the device on both wrists. You are quite right, the more information the we have the more confidence we can have in our understanding of a golf swing. Watch this space.
The way I think about the movement is like the cancer symbol. You are tracing a path out, then looping around at the top & then crossing over the original path as you come from the inside. Looks like an infinity symbol with an open end. Weird, but that is how I picture it if you get my drift.

This is the best description of the backswing inner workings that I have ever seen! Thank you Jonathon

Clear as mud
🤣
I did my best 🤷🏻

Well done sir!

Excellente vidéo est ce que tu peux travailler ça en ligne ?
Great video and good explanation. Is the HM device any use? Is it worth the money

Does this device measure wrist pronation and supination? Might be helpful to show this data, if it does.
It does shows the wrist rotation but not in real time.
What do you do again?
So, you need a hack motion for each wrist? You need to know what both wrists are doing, not just the lead one.
