I have a digital microscope already that is way more basic. But enjoy using it to look at coins. As you get older and your eyes get bad it's very nice. That's a very nice one. Excellent idea with the addition you made!❤ it comes in handy looking at other things as well.the zoom feature is very nice.👍👋🤟🙏
Those are cool 😎 I follow a gold prospector from my state, and he shows his spoils under the same kind of microscope and it is amazing looking. Excellent addition my friend
Wonderful new toy. I hope you get many years out of it. I love that gold sovereign. Now I have to go on eBay and see if I can get me one. I hope Sal didn’t hear you say … “the pennies dropped”. You know how he gets. 🤣👍😁. Take care my friend.
@@noicue8078 You really don't want to know. I overpaid at Apmex but it was a date I needed. Average circulated are $560 at Bullion Exchanges. Mine was over a hundred bucks more.
CCT.. Good review. I've been putting this off for a couple of years now. Mostly because of the things you don't like about it. But in reality I buy one.. and the dinning room table will be taken over for months. 😂 I have so many wheat penny's that need a closer look. The wife will move me to the barn.😮
Man I like this unit. Wow I wish I saw this one before I bought a Celestron 5mp last year for $70 and now I think I need to upgrade to this unit you have. The Celestron is smaller and I have to connect it to my laptop cause it doesn’t have the attached screen like this one.
It was sheer coincidence that I saw it at my lcs. If you heard me mention my little upgrade that I made for it, well I made one for my lcs too, and took it in last week. I'll be featuring what I bought while I was there in an upcoming video.
Nice LCD microscope CCT. The shakiness may be a problem if you wanna integrate the display to your video. Otherwise perfect for examining coins! 👍🏻👍🏻😊✌🏻
Technically this doesn't have batteries ( not ones that can be replaced) as the cells are built in. It's quite handy not having to have it connected and you can move it around or even take it out with you. The charge seemed to last a couple hours.
Awesome! The DM9 MAX won't disappoint! It's our one of the best microscope models for coin search!

I haven't tried connecting it up to my TV yet, but i will certainly be giving that a go.
Great review sir. Yes, this is the same one I got. I love the lighting options on it.
I did lookup your video and I think it was a different model, but either way, It's still a nice bit a of kit.
@@CyberCurtainTwitcher I've reviewed several different models of these

Thanks my friend. I'm sure I'll find plenty other uses for it aside looking at coins.
I have an antique Nikon lab microscope, it is huge and weighs a ton, lovely thing, that looks handy.
It's a neat bit of kit. The thumbnail of the gold Britannia video was actually taken on it
Nice piece of equipment. I've been looking into these a bit. Thanks for the review. 👍🏼
I think it's certainly good value for the money.

I couldn't believe how long it took me to work out what "STGSIL" meant! I got another sovereign in yesterdays mail that will be in an upcoming video.

@@CyberCurtainTwitcher oh wow 😮
Nice acquisition, CCT 👍
Thanks Annie. No doubt it will feature in a future video at some point as well.
Pretty neat great tool to have if looking for errors and coin roll hunting 🎉
And in my case, looking for hallmarks i don't recognise 😁

HI CYBER . This scope is very nice . I like it better than the on I have :-))
It's pretty impressive for the money i think.

That's one of the plus sides. It is totally transportable due to having internal power source.😁
@@CyberCurtainTwitcher Your a funny man. 🤣I'll put a picture of my weather station on my community of today. No AC in the barn. YET. 🥵

Great point Georgie.
Another useful tool for the arsenal !
Indeed my friend.
Great video, mate
Thanks.
I did a couple videos on the Andonstar branded one. Looks like yours. :-)
Correction: Mine doesnt have batteries. It must be plugged in to a USB port

That's a nifty contraption. Be rather useful for picking out splinters from me fingers.
