Great video Mike. I started this year with a live scope and am learning many new things I didn’t know. Truman lake is a hoot to fish, but my home water is Missouri/Iowa border.
Hi Mike, have you tried the Powerbait Crappie Nibbles with glitter/sparkles? Those have really earned my respect lately. Triggers bites for me when nothing else will! I think the glitter is the trigger!?
Great video Mike I sure miss fishing Truman I live on Grandlake Oklahoma now it fishes like Loz I thought you had a power pole Trolling Motor. Have you had issues with it. I see you’re running a ultrex now. Thanks and keep those crappie videos coming. 😎
Can you share the model number of the rod you’re using? I contacted B&M and they said the only bait caster rods they had were 5.5” rods and that the 10’ plus rods were all spinning rods. Obviously your rod with the bait cast reel is longer than 5’5”. Thanks
Power poles for the win. I had about the same experience this morning up here on Smithville. Fish just didn't want to eat. But I couldn't hold still like you did and harass them enough. Not without scaring them off or drifting away. Still managed 9. Do you think that skinny water made your targets look bigger? Seemed like your jig and minnow looked bigger on the screen as well...could just be the settings but i didn't know if the shallower water had that effect?
Another great informative crappie video Mike ! Keep em coming!

I agree. But, every time I use the glitter sparks, my wife accuses me of going to the strip club.😆
Mine accuses me of having stripper in the boat because its all over the carpet....@MikeBakerVideos

Hey Mike, what version are you running on transducer and black box? Thanks for your videos, Ted and I enjoy watching!
I don't know, whatever the latest version is.

@@C_K_Williams it is a 14 foot Blue Diamond. It is technically a spinning rod but you can put a bait caster on it.
