This was one of the most informative videos I’ve watched on live scope ever. It’s not only teaching me something about my live scope but my trolling motor and boat control as well. Thank you for putting this video out, I’m now a new subscriber
This is exactly what I also do, amazing how fast you can accumulate spots to fish by doing this. I have found upwards of 10-15 piles on a main lake point spread out about 40 yds. from each other. I fish Toledo Bend 185,000 acre reservoir, it is important to break a body of this water down into sections and use this method. I have Side scan also but not that good with it yet so was missing a bunch of good fishing spots.
Important indeed!!! We section our lakes up as well, def. Makes it way more manageable. I have a video on side scan if you want to check it out. I plan on doing another one soon. That part is also vital to new bodies of water / areas. I appreciate you!
Good Video, Boat control is imperative , thats the first rule of Crappie Fishing, livescope has been a great locator for me, once I'm where i need to be and know where the fish are its ole school from there , getting downwind fishing into the wind is the best way to control the boat 👍 agree 💯, Good video my weakest point is mapping most of my lakes are swamp oxbows and theres no maps , when things get cooled down my intentions are to create my own Contour maps on a SD card , theres something to this mapping and color codeing the depths , we're in a serious drought right now (south Mississippi) ,temps are getting right but we need rain 🌧 desperately
Absolutely!! You are exactly right about the mapping, and that is a great plan for creating your own maps! Let me know hoe it goes!! And check back as I hadn’t thought of that and may crank out one on this topic and how to effectively do it!
SI is certainly a faster method indeed! I did a video over it a few weeks back as well. Both are great for deck flipping slabs! I do what you said almost every time as well. And it’s primarily how I teach new users.
This is one of the best ffs vids I have seen. Needs to be wrapped up and sold! Excellent job!
Man I'm glad you like it! I'm happy to share all the knowledge I can. Thanks for watching!

Structure and holes is what I aim for on the scope during the ice fishing year! Only time I use it! 😅
I need to try some ice fishing! But mannnnn it feels so sketch to me 😂😂🤘🏻🤘🏻
What kind of transducer pole and bracket are you using.
Lol, its one I made out of PVC and a ram mount. Three years in going strong!!! 💪🏻 😂
Gotcha… it’s working… 😉👍
I will stick with side imaging to cover water. Then use livescope to check what i found.
