Enjoyable as always, thank you Dodger. From my Waterloo library would recommend Waterloo The French Perspective and Wellingon’s Waterloo Allies, both by Andrew Field, Waterloo by Tim Clayton, Waterloo Myth and Reality by Gareth Glover and The Waterloo Companion by Mark Adkin. This breaks down each of the parts of the battle and covers the infantry, cavalry and artillery of all 3 armies present.

Thank you very much for your book suggestions I'm very pleased to receive your suggestions ans will follow these up. I do not have any of those books although "The Waterloo Companion" was one that I've thought of getting. So glad you liked this week's episode. Thanks for watching.

I hope you had a great trip Gary. I would like to have walked from La Belle Alliance across the field to Hougoumont. Also next time I'd try to get to Plancenoit.

Hougoumont really is great. Try and get across again but by yourself if you can. Sometimes you can't beat being by yourself for things like this.
