i did this exact simple lab. One sw1 shows my ports as down in errdisable state but on sw2 they are up up. something not right. This is with the "ON" option. , LACP active and passive work just fine.

shut and unshut the ports.. then check the status again
Can we make layer3 port chanel on layer 2 switches..like Cisco catalyst 2960
2960 switch i don't think will support layer 3 port channel...
