始まりは、もの凄く悲しい旋律。それを吹っ切るように、カラ元気を出してみるけど、やはり落ち込んでしまう。でも、チェロとコントラバスが落ち込む心を美しく支えていました。

This is a lovely performance. You wrote on Instagram of how the movie ending made you sad, and that sadness seems to suffuse this cover, especially the theme at the beginning and Audition. I listened to the movie soundtrack theme, and yours is darker and more solemn. You play slow, long-drawn-out notes and the cello gives a darker tone to the piece; this seems to foreshadow the end in a way the movie soundtrack does not. The tone you give to Audition, too, seem to foretell the end: it is almost mournful even though the audition goes well in a way. The other portions also have a darker tone, perhaps because of the cello, but I think your reaction to the ending influences them too. And I share your reaction to the ending, so this performance feels like the right way to play it. Lovely, thank you. 🤩 😍
