Removing Daily Expiry was good. Vaise bhi OPERATORS Market ko control karke rangebound rakthe thay, such that OPTION BUYERS loose Money due to decay. But now increasing lot size is a very bad idea. Small retailers could make small profits and also small losses. Now, they will either make BIGGER Profits or BIGGER LOSSESS. Government and SEBI have increased STT fees which will have more impact on everyone with increased LOT Size. Time to restrict oneself in Indian Stock Market and get more involved with CRYPTO and FOREX.

SEBI is going to increase contract size of nifty option to 20 lacs from 5 lacs. What does this mean? Currently I am trading nifty option with average 180rs with 225 quantity and fixing the SL 10 points and target 40 points and I am in good profit. To be honest a regulator is a watchdog and it has to make sure nothing wrong happens (unlawful,unethical) but making changes because people making losses and curbing them from getting into f&o is over regulation. SEBI is becoming parent rather than being a watchdog.
it was 75 with nifty underlying 16-18k. But its 26k so nifty has to go 18k to make no difference. Though wont affect me even dime so I don't care much on rules

According to me the six rules which sebi has published, out of them only 2 are effecting the option buyer like me, the rules are no 4 and 5 and the rules no 1, 2, and 6 are for option sellers and rule no 3 is for the big players who have lakhs of rupees to trade, mostly small capital option buyers will be effected by rule no 4 & 5

I learnt to trade crude oil futures and was about to go all in, but in 2021 margins increased, it used to be 5k per lot but now it is 1,96,000 ₹ per lot . That's why i shifted to forex trading. I am not promoting others to do the same , but isn't sebi unintentionally forcing us to do these things.

If nse choose banknifty weekly expiry then according to new circular , banknifty may lot size increase to 30- 35 quantities from current 15 quantities . Seems like it doesn't heavy impact on option buyers . rather than option sellers

Removing Daily Expiry was good. Vaise bhi OPERATORS Market ko control karke rangebound rakthe thay, such that OPTION BUYERS loose Money due to decay. But now increasing lot size is a very bad idea. Small retailers could make small profits and also small losses. Now, they will either make BIGGER Profits or BIGGER LOSSESS. Government and SEBI have increased STT fees which will have more impact on everyone with increased LOT Size. Time to restrict oneself in Indian Stock Market and get more involved with CRYPTO and FOREX.

SEBI is going to increase contract size of nifty option to 20 lacs from 5 lacs. What does this mean? Currently I am trading nifty option with average 180rs with 225 quantity and fixing the SL 10 points and target 40 points and I am in good profit.
