Hi dears. 68yo Army here. I'm still in the middle of watching this but thought I'd take a moment to let you know that all 7 members are currently serving in the military.
1:02:51 Army got together to surprise Jin at a concert for his last birthday before enlistment. They had paddles with his name on it in Korean. At Wimberley, the staff helped Army surprise the group with their older song Young Forever which has a lot of meaning to the group. English speakers singing in full Korean.
There were actually two birthday projects at the PTD concert in LA - hearts on paper with a birthday message to him (I helped with that one), and moons that ARMY put on their ARMY Bombs. He saw both.
Currently BTS has around 1000 awards and counting. Today all members speak English and Japanese. Jin spends his life eating to help Armys with eating disorders. Please also watch the explanatory video about the difficulties that BTS faced in the Korean and global. A curiosity about Boy with lov. In the verse where Jin sings "come be my teacher" we see in the choreography Suga pointing at Jhope and vice versa. They do this because Suga taught Jhope how to rap and Jhope taught Suga how to dance when they were trainees. I miss my boys🇧🇷💜
So I'm going to pop things in here as they come up: They only had their diplomatic passports for that one trip. They had to give them back when they got back home. They didn't just ask people on the streets to come to their concert, they also asked some people to help them with an mv they were making at the time. The rappers educated the vocal line giving them music to listen to so that they would gain more of an understanding of the different kinds of music out there. All trainees at Hybe now get that training. Bang Si-hyuk (often referred to as, Hitman Bang or Bang PD) wanted them to express themselves freely but a few times they took risks because songs were censored in SK until fairly recently and political views were not allowed. BTS sing about the drop in marriage and birth rated due to the lack of employment opportunities and also about the government's failures and social prejudices. Heavy stuff. The role of the leader is to mediate between the company and the group so RM has to fight their corner and must also have to deliver unpopular decisions. I shall forever think of the capital of Belgium as, Waffle, instead of, Brussels, thanks to JIn. Jin was cast off the street which is no longer common but was back then. In the old days of Hollywood people were often cast in films that way. He is the only one of them to have attended a physical university. All the others did their courses online. To go to a university in Seoul is very prestigious. Jin plays it down but other pupils in his school came to see the student who had got into such a good university so early. He is the oldest hyung and for a while he was the only one who could drive so he drove Jung Kook to school. He didn't cook all the time but he and SUGA, and now, JK, are good cooks. Jin loves to do something to make ARMY laugh during concert encores. Jin and SUGA were ideal roomies because they are both introverted and they were able to give each other space and quiet. They will talk for hours on a long car journey. SUGA goes fishing because Jin enjoys it. Jung Kook was very reserved when he joined BTS. He had been quite boisterous in his school back in Busan but once he came to Seoul everything was unfamiliar and he hardly spoke at all. He's now very confident though, like Jin, still introverted. He's trying hard to learn English. He and Jin have an 8 year old's mentality so they love to mess around on stage together. If you notice JK has a sleeve of tattoos up his arm and on one hand. Tattoos are frowned on in Japan so you will often see him wearing long sleeves and a cover over his hand on shows over there. In Korea they are tolerated more but still not totally accepted. He produced a new GCF film recently when he went to Europe to film his mv. BTW only JK and Jimin have a range of tattoos. All the members have a number '7' tattoo in different places on each of their bodies. ARMY has supported them when times were hard and tried to protect them from negative actions by other agencies and the press. BTS is concerned that we try so hard for them so they always show that they value our support. They write songs including us like Pied Piper and Magic Shop. Jin's last song before he enlisted, The Astronaut, includes lots of references to ARMY. We know a little about their families but if they have a significant other we don't know about it. Unfortunately some K-Pop stars have suffered from very negative reactions from their fans. Fans camped outside one agency demanding the star divorce his wife when he even had a child on the way. I enjoyed your reaction and the way you valued Taylor's hard work to produce this video. Welcome to the rabbit hole. We're all waiting for them to complete their military service but there is so much to enjoy while they are away serving their country.
In the begining Big Hit had a total of 10 employees and Bang PD only narrowly avoided bankruptcy. JK was 15 at debut. Audition shown was age 13. Every age shown was one year younger as korea counted you one year at birth and one year older at new year even if your birthday isnt to new year. Wembley sold out 2 days in less than 2 hours. (60,000+ capacity). V mentioned in a concert in tears when the grandmother who raised him died. He got death threats and accused of using her death for attention.
They really are a family. I think that's why some people think they're blood related 🫶. It's been interesting watching them grow into adults on and off stage. Can't wait for 2025!
Hi dears. 68yo Army here. Until 2022 BTS lived together in a series of 4 bedroom "dorms" or houses....after moving out of that 1 room in the company office. They now have their own homes. As far as their families BTS shares their family lives with us too...from talking to their parents on the phone or even showing their parents in the videos. Their families even vacation together. Jimin's dad owns a restaurant in Busan. J Hope's sister is on youtube. And their families are good friends with each other.
I think the last "dorm" was divided so that five of the seven had their own room. Only hobi and Jimin shared a room then. They let that apartment go officially when they went on hiatus in June 2022 (they were at the apartment to clear out the last of their stuff when they recorded the 2022 FESTA dinner at which they announced the hiatus). JK mentioned that the room they recorded that dinner in was divided in half and he and Tae each had rooms made from that. They each had also their own place for a while before they let the dorm go, though. You can see Jimin at his own place during the pandemic, for instance, in the BTS Momuments documentary on Disney+.
@@OT7_DopeOldARMY yes, I knew they had their own places before festa but I didn't know about them eventually having their own rooms with the exception of Jimin and Hobi...and that's one of the reasons I love Army so much....we always share the knowledge. Thank you for your input.💜
The big three is still a thing because they partnered with the tv entertainment companies and to this day have a big influence on who appears on their programs. Hybe is bigger than these three now ( money wise) but still does not have an entertainment platform other than Weverse to use to promote their groups. Bighit changed its name to Bighit music and has been BTS parent company from the start and to this day. Hybe is the umbrella to many companies, with some groups in each.
There are MANY, and the number keeps growing as more people discover/like their talent and quality work as “soloists” and decide to give the group they are part of a fair(er) chance than they would have given a “boy band”. Jungkook attracted a lot of attention from soccer fans when he sang at the World Cup opening ceremony. J-hope reached music enthusiasts there to see other artists when he headlined Lollapalooza and Suga(Agust D) & Jimin performed at The Tonight Show. (Jk also promoted his debut album there). Their collaborations have also drawn in a lot of new male fans to “get to know” BTS and their music.
I like it when she said "bangtan" and he says "yes, bungtun" If you want to translate to English then it is Bangtan (bullet proof) boyscouts. Basically the Big 3 had controlled the entertainment media, and didn't want any other companies breaking in. Actually they did BTS a favour by forcing them to be more creative and resourceful. Hybe was born out of the wealth that BTS created. It wasn't that their company let them "risk" talking about controversial subjects, it was at the core of their being. The logo for Bighit originally said something like Artists and Music for Healing. To see who infuenced RM and the other rappers watch Hip Hop Lover. All the guys are currently in the army. Jin has already completed one year, Jhope has done more than half a year, Sugar about 3 months and the remaining 4 guys all joined in mid december. Army fans are waiting for them to return in midlate 2025. JK was 15 at debute, but only 13 when he left home and moved to the dorm in Seoul.
Missing Bangtan right now. They're ALL in the military right now. The last 4 members enlisting just a day apart from each other: RM & V on the 11th and Jimin & JK on the 12th earlier this month. 😭💜 Good news is that Jin will be back in about 6 months...exactly 1 day before their 11th Anniversary!! Apo Bangpo 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜
Just to piggy back on BTS spotify and Itunes on being no.1. Making correction so when BTS songs gets no.1 in history on Itunes, spotify and billboards. It doesn't mean just in South Korea, it's globally, I want to correct you two. Because I keep hearing "it's only in Korea". Look let's just be realistic here. BTS didn't get to be the biggest group of Artists on this planet. For Making just in Korea , sorry but I just have to put it out there. I hear and see a lot of reactors, keep saying BTS is only the biggest in Korea. No they are globally everywhere in over 200 counties. Because Armies are in over 200 countries. Beside that Thanks for the reaction ! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
52:46 Actually, the opposite. Jimin is very sure of what he wants. His dad reported that Jimin in middle school wanted to be singer/performer and wrote an essay on how he will do it. He was so determined and worked very hard to reach his dreams/goals.🙂
The vocal line is impressive, their performance is unique and their voices harmonize perfectly, they write, produce, play instruments just like the rap line are ambassadors of high-end brands: Jk from Calvin Klein, Tae from Celien and Cartie and Jimin of Dior and Tiffany and Co have been present at many charity events and are part of the Million Sellers for selling over a million copies of their solo albums as well as the rap line are out of this world
sadly all of them now in Military, they cannot do the live like we used to wait of them going live together.but next year will be there comeback as A GROUP again and i am excited for that😇. thanks for the reaction
Not company issue's their company stands behind what they do but other's don't. The company told them to write songs about where they are as individuals, what they want to sing rap about what's important to them. So they don't follow the Norms of the Kpop Industry.
They all can play at least one musical instrument of some kind mostly piano/keyboard and 3 members have played instruments on stage Suga and Jin both have played Piano and Guitar on stage while Jung kook has played Drums on stage.
I am really enjoying your journey and love to see how you are slowly opening your mind to BTS from a typical pre-conception of KPop and the band. Still finding it amusing that in one minute Theo said that JK said something "sus" when he said he "fell for RM" and then in the next breath said when you hug your friend people think you are a couple/gay and they shouldn't but you just did the exact same thing. KPop idols are not supposed to date, it is written in their contracts. There are always the scary fans (called saesang) who would go to far if they found out their bias was dating. They blur out the company's employees so they do not get mobbed for info on the group as well. For an ARMY I am surprised that Valen does not know a lot of basic info, so it is great to see that she is also getting new info from this journey.
1:06 Jin came from a wealthy family. But stayed in the dorms with the other boys practicing & grinding to debut. He is the oldest & during their training period/ debut he was just 18 & being an 18 year old, coming from a wealthy family he never boasted about it. Instead he took on the role of an elder brother & took care of all the other 6 members. (All the members are really humble.) He sometimes talk about how he is sort of "less talented" than other members & really underestimates himself most of the time. But he's one of the most talented one. Also the confidence he has... Damn!!
Here where I live many men aren't afraid to hugs each other pat each other's arm or shoulder or even say 'Love you man' or love you bro, it's more with men who have known each other for years, or grown up together since they were kids. Also we have a mix of ethicinity here in the UK. Men will even greet each other with a kiss on the cheek especially if they are brothers or have known each other since they were kids or attend the same church.
I'm telling u guys Run BTS (variety show) is like therapy to me U should react to that Ep.24 would be a great start Or all their recent episodes like telepathy special, flying yoga etc
They are 5 time's Grammy nominated and V's joke was the fact it was a math's question and Grammy was a play on words eg Gram the metric weight measurement so it was very clever and of course the other's understood the joke so they all laughed. They use the metric system like we do in the UK (well we use both metric and imperial)
that's not the joke. the joke is that RM asked what award V had that could show that he is good in math, but V said Grammy because it is an award (though they didn't get it), but the funny part is that Grammy is not even related to math
@@tspotz no but it's a pun a play on words where 2 words can either have the same meaning or 2 words can sound similiar or 2 words where you can suggest something else by either remitting or add more letters. It's extremely clever it's word play something a lot of us Brit's. That's why we find what he said so funny on more than one level because as we know they didn't get their grammy but they do have 5 Grammy nominatons. It's the cleverest pun as it works on different levels. Some of us UK ARMY were having a party when they didn't get the Grammy and the joke that went on all evening were about 'how many grammys of sugar did you put in that cake to make it so sweet?' so much groaning and giggling resumed from that.
@@eileencritchley4630 i know what a pun is, but how is the gram (i.e. the metric unit of measurement you are referring to) related to Math? it is only remotely related and i don't see how that could effectively be utilised as a pun.
@@tspotz That's simple grams are numbers eg 250grams of sugar plus 250 grams of butter/mar add 250grams of flour the total weight of your cake will weigh 750grams. Math's in action.
@@eileencritchley4630 yes but that's not related to the context of the joke. V is using anti-humour by stating an award that is totally not related to math, thereby making the joke funny.
They are all doing their military service right now Jin will be back in 6months and J Hope will be back in October then the other 5 will be back in June 2025 for the reunion.
I wish you can pause the video when you talk or share your thoughts coz i really want to listen but at the same time i wanna watch the video (again) with you so you wont miss anything. Every thing that is put up here in this video has its significance of BTS & ARMY. I love listening your thoughts, greatly appreciated. 🙏BTW, that BTS Spotify achievements & itunes mean worldwide😆not just in SKorea or else Taylor will specifically emphasize it. BTS is global long time ago😉Borahae 🫰💜
JungKook was actually 14 by our standards when he debuted! Korean age starts when they are born at one year! So he left home at the age of 13. Please check out Xceleste and Rice Squad they have more content that Taylor wasn’t able to get in this one! The signs at that concert in the Army section that you didn’t know where Happy Birthday Signs to Jin! It was at the fourth Permission To Dance concert in Las Angeles in Dec of 2022. We also put moon shades over our bombs in honor of his song Moon! It was an amazing experience being there! Chris Martin from Coldplay performed My Universe with the boys as a surprise guest!
apparently the reason V was hidden is because of his voice and visuals they didnt want any other company to snatch him up. from what I heard back then people would try and get trainees to leave their companies and join other ones. So they wanted to protect him from being them. Apparently, they can be quite aggressive
Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people counted age differently to others... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. The members were only 13-18 years old when they became trainees and 15-20 yo when they debuted. In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee) Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo) Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11 JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8 RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo) V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo) JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. The Korean Government has recently (June28) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age. 💜Have a great day
Jin and 3 other members all have their Master's Degree's now they had to study online we can do that here in the UK with the very prestiage Open University. My friend did that for her Master's Degree her in the UK as she was also working full time for a large company. It's extremely hard work to do it this way and it take's longer to do it normally. It's considered part time education while working full time and it's the hardest way to get a Degree be it a BA or a Masters.
@@nazvel7971 If I've remembered it correctly if not I'm sure someone will come along and correct any mistakes I've might have made. I think as I've not written it down anywhere but I think it's the 4 oldest members.
Chris Martin of Coldplay always reffers to Jin as "World Wide Handsome Jin" Theyre best buddies Jin once went live for over 4 hours playing "Getting over it" and raging the whole time V has played a few multiplayer games with ARMY like Pubg, Fall guys, and goose goose duck
Hi guys, thank you for reacting to the BTS guide. If i may suggest some other documentaries, i hope you can react to The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS by RiceSquad (please make sure it's the 2023 update) , which also shows a bit about how they began and how they came together as a group but also focuses on their musical career thus far and a lot of their milestones and accolades. Another really good watch is The Rise Of Bangtan, which is a, 23-chapter, fan made documentary series that focuses more closely on their journey, and you also get a bit of insight into the kpop industry and Korean culture which helps you understands BTS' message more. Looking forward to seeing more reactions in the future💜
I just wanna reach out and hug you right now. Thank you for suggesting Rice Squad's introduction to BTS. I don't know why it's not suggested enough. It's my favorite one. I love Taylor's too, both amazing introduction videos. But thank you so much for suggested RS. 💜
@@mccadd86💜*BIG HUG*💜 SAME! It is also my favorite. I like Taylor's guide a lot too but I really love and appreciate how rice squad elaborates more on the history of kpop and on the formation of bts and just his narration of all the info makes it very fun and entertaining.
when someone do use "bts is gay" as an insult, the best way would be to just say "yes they are" it baffles me people still use being gay as an insult 💀 i mean yes they are rainbowy as hell and are married to each other, all of em,what you gonna do about it? 😭 everything aside I love how open the boys are with their emotions, yoongi once expressed how he is not fond when masculinity is defined by certain emotions and characteristics and i couldnt agree more! I have seen people's perception change as they dive deeper into bts! they start becoming more comfortable with themselves and honestly it is beautiful to see people accept and be comfortable to express and not act a certain way just cause it is seen as "weird" by the society
It's not a bts thing it's a cultural difference in Korea man are more friendly with eo than in other areas if you look at other groups they're also very friendly or touchy with each other doesn't means they're gay
@@ssev4026 "doesnt mean they are gay" yet people assume they are straight all the time yet no one bats an eye, heteronormativity much?! my point was not what they are..i am well aware of the skinship culture in korea,my point was people using "being gay" like its some kind of an insult..

I would just you should react to their solo albums and each member released it before going to military. Now all the members are gone for military and they all will return together in 2025, you a lot time to react to their new albums and stuff their releasing after joining the army . The best K pop group ever.
despite as powerful and huge hybe is big 3 still is a thing in korea specifically big 3 might not be the biggest company but they are the foundation of kpop it still hugely matters in kpop industry and other than hybe artist and a few other groups big 3 artists are still dominating so...yeah it exists and has a lot of power over korean media and television....although because of the power hybe holds right now a lot of fans like calling it big 4 but it still is a controvercial subject since a lot of them disagree that hybe should be in there and that is because hybe just blew up right ow and wasn't there since the very begining it did not empact kpop in anyway back then
Hybe's earrings do succeed the earrings of big three combined but still BIG 3 is vaild because of the huge media influence they have even now. A kpop group did something, it is in the major headlines of every news channel but when it comes to BTS,its quite different . When BTS got grammy nominations, their media phrased it as "BTS fail to get nominated into major categories" despite the the fact that they were the the first ever Korean pop act to be nominated in Korea's history.
@@valenandtheoin 49:56 when you mention they always have artificial/Fake tattoos and piercings but Jungkook has real tattoos and piercings, Jin has real piercings,Jimin has real piercings, Yoongi/Suga has real piercings, Namjoon/RM and Taehyung/V has real piercings the only member who has never had a piercing is Hobi/J Hope but all of the members have real tattoos but many have hidden real tattoo but the members who have many tattoos are Jungkook and Jimin but all have a tattoo wrote 7 because of their friendship RM his tattoo is on his leg near the ankle Jin his tattoo is on his lower waist Suga his tattoo is on his left shoulder J hope is tattoo is on his Achilles heel Jimin is tattoo is on his index finger V is tattoo is on his leg just above his knee Jungkook his tattoo is on his neck So they have real tattoos And in 52:22 when he mentioned he got a math award and his respond is Grammy that is funny because a math award who see a math award? Anybody can’t see a math award that is not exist 😂 For the member who is the pillar of the group is J Hope because he always putting the others members before him more than Jimin because if you thinking about that jimin is the pillar of the group forget about it because J Hope is more important for the group and in a interview RM say after V say a question about if you can quit the role of the leader who you choose to be the leader and RM say J Hope because J Hope is also the second leader of BTS
Jin came from a well off family but so humble. He is the youngest in their family but he came the eldest brother when he joined BTS. In the beginning they all thought Jin was a brat but he was the opposite... he embrace the trainee life and when they were still starting where they lack funds and resources....Jin would often treat or buy food for all the members using the credit card his mom give him when he was away as a trainee.
That was the second night at Wembley I was there singing to BTS with 60,000 other fans. BTS are only one of 12 groups/artist to ever sell out Wembley Stadium and only 1 of 7 to do it more than once.
-Bangtan bomb is their random behind the scenes content. ARMY Bomb is the lightstick -their age range when they debuted was 15-20 -BigHit still exists, not as BigHit Ent. but as BigHit Music. it's under HYBE -yes, they are family. the boys themselves always say this every chance they got -RM do admire Eminem but his role model is Nas -BTS was supposed to be a hiphop group, their boss told SUGA and RM that they don't need to dance but the management decided they'll debut them as kpop idols (which requires dancing), and that's when they started looking for vocalists.. anyway, SUGA knows how to dance, he even knows how to b-boy but dancing is not his top priority (plus he got into an accident) -their version of Young Wild and Free is called Graduation Song, that's why they're singing it cause that's when Jin just got graduated -the reason V mentioned about the purple is because ARMY covered their ARMY Bombs in purple plastic or something to surprise BTS, it was before the ARMY Bomb could change colors.. then he invented "Borahae" (I purple you) on the spot -they used to upload solo songs on SoundCloud.. during their solo era, they uploaded those songs on Spotify, but there's still some original songs that remained on SoundCloud.. but maybe they will use SoundCloud for their cover songs from now on or something like a subunit single -BTS actually made the name ARMY, it's an acronym of something that goes along with BTS' message - 58:24 it was Jin's birthday. written on those hearts is Jin's name. ARMY organized that to surprise him -Vlive is no more. all contents from vlive are now transferred to Weverse. -we know about their families, but BTS are very private about them and we respect that.
Just one clarification - SUGA actually said during his D-Day promotion that he likes to dance now. It's part of the reason that he did choreo for Haegeum and a choreo video, even though he never performed it.
You can find pictures of their parents and siblings. Over 10 years they have been included a little. They would say they are too busy to date, but I hope that's not true. I hope they have had a chance to live a somewhat normal life.
Another fact, Jungkook is credited with singing majority of all choruses in their songs. His adlibs & hidden vocals on tracks are insane. Not only that, he sings the vocal guides for the BTS group songs & even for the other members SOLO songs (including some for the rappers). If you want to dive deeper into him as the main vocalist of BTS, there is an actual video called Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS. It’s a fantastic showing of some of his vocal talents! Great reaction. 💜
35:40 sim vocês estão certos sobre isso, um exemplo disso na prática é o próprio BTS: o Nam é o líder embora ele seja mais jovem que outros membros, todos do BTS sem exceção lhe dá o devido respeito pela sua posição ☺️
They don't due to their families have received hate when people have found out any of the members siblings names. If and when they have girlfiends/boyfriends we as ARMY will support them however they proberly won't tell us because the Hater's who are many will go after their loved one's.
Easiest to think in these terms. K-Pop is an industry . It covers most genres and includes soloists and groups and is a term used mostly in the west to indicate that the artist is from Korea and has music that is popular. In Korea they don't really use the term K-Pop. They call them Idols (or Idol groups). It is not common for Idol groups to write their own music or be so involved in their art. BTS has broken thru the barriers that come with being called "KPop Idols" and have become "Global Artists" instead. That said, they are extremely proud of their country of birth, so being referred to as KPop stars does not bother them.. The reason so many ARMY get upset is that it is usually used in a derogatory manner when people just dismiss BTS as some little KPop boyband. As you will find most (not all) of KPop is being forced to sing innane lyrics to boppy tunes and no real substance. BTS bridges generational boundaries - for instance 5 generations of my family adore these 7 humble young men (from 90 yo grandma to my 2yo grandson)... I've been ARMY since 2016 (I'm 52) (Mamamoo is another "KPop" group that are incredible "Artists".... 4 woman powerhouse of vocals and visuals - check out their video AYA) (Also check out The Rose- a K Rock Band, and DPR Ian - a soloist from Australia who started his career over in SKorea and writes about his experiences with bipolar disorder. )
Oh my God.How much I miss the full members of BTS.Everyone would have returned from military service as soon as possible.I already watch every day all the videos with their participation everywhere.Without BTS, the music industry and the entertainment industry have become less colorful.I miss their songs, music videos, their legendary performances, concerts and of course their sincere conversations, their laughter in RUN BTS,online broadcasts of each .
BТС просто надежда на лудшее,душевное.Они без фальши и такие родные.БТС-это просто нескончаемая любовь.💜И я не девчонка ;к сожелению,а бабушка,которой 51.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I recommend you to watch/react to "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS" (2023 Update). A documentary of their success. Starting from their debut year upto 'Permission to Dance' Era.💜
Ohh! 💥💜
7:30 Hi, I just wanted to say that Big Hit still exists just not Big Hit Entertainment... it's a lil complex to explain in a comment but short version of story is that BigHit Entertainment was renamed to BigHit Labels which was then renamed HYBE. HYBE is actually multinational company with many labes under it and Bts is part of label called BigHit Music. In this way we have f.e. groups like Seventeen, NewJeans, Enhypen, Le Sserafim, Bts, Txt etc. etc. under the same company but under BigHit Music is only BTS and TXT (and soloist Lee Hyun) if it makes sense 😅.
I don't know about other countries but in S. Korea you don't belong to the copy wright association just because you want to. In S. Korea there are strict qualifications & requirements and song writers has to be screened & chosen and only certain numbers per year are permitted to be in the association. If you are older and close relationship, they still call you Hyung but if you are in the industry a lot longer than you, there is another terminology called Sunbae (=senior in the industry).
Bighit as a label does still exist and it's the one under which BTS and TXT are signed. For the sake of separating music label from other business endevours, Bighhit Entertainment, which contained it all as it grew with BTS, was renamed as HYBE and the part that was BTS' music label specifically was named Bighit Music. You have other labels under HYBE now, but BTS are Bighit Music, as you can see from the logo at the beginning of their newer music videos.
41:44 no, they also assume that you are gay because you look handsome and clean and not too masculine one of those "oh hes cute! I bet hes gay." type of situations if you had a totally diffrent look that people would be much less likely to think that you might be gay and arent just playing around also since its a general consensus that you run the risk of being perceived as gay if you are affectionate with your male friends, its easy to conclude that you aren't being afraid of that because you actually are gay/bi
Chen of EXO is married and I can't remember seeing a picture of his wife ever. For her safety. It's naive to suggest people wouldn't care if BTS members revealed partners. Some of them are already being stalked and subjected to online hate- the company announced just today that they were suing people for it.
The Big 3 will continue to be the Big 3 because they are the pioneers in the kpop industry, so this goes back much further to the music industry and as it was established in its beginnings, the fact that Hybe is now a massive industry with excellent results does not make it part of the Big 3 but it does not stop it from competing with them in the market with respect to its artists
In working field if someone has more experiences regardless of their age/gender you call them Sunbae 선배님. within a guys group the oldest called hyung 형 and the youngest dongsaeng 동생 or maknae 막내, However for girls eonni 언니 for the oldest. Girls call older guys oppa 어빠 and guys call older girls nuna 누나 (if they’re close)
My bias is RM beside being the main rapper, composer and songwriter of the group with more than 215 songs credits under his name , he's the reason the CEO of their company decided to form the band because he saw how talented he is and wanted to make sure he depute,BTS wouldn't be here without him 💙 he's such a beautiful person inside and out , no one match his lyricism, please react to his solo songs Wildflower, still life ,joke, chande ft wale ,closer 💙💙
A couple of context points ; The reason Jungkook was emotional on his birthday was because they had just played a prank on him, falsely scolding him harshly for mistakes- he was asking the camera man if the crew was in on it. When RM was talking about Jungkook being irreplaceable that clip was when he had been injured on tour in London and they had to scramble to rearrange everything with him sitting down while singing. They managed it but it could have been disastrous and led to cancelled events.
One of the best and genuine reactions I have seen in a long time. Thank you for reacting. I would live to see your reaction to "The Most Beautiful Life Goes on:story of BTS " by Rice Squad. 💜💜💜💜
Yes, in South Korea, rank trumps age. So, while age is important, rank is even *more* important. Edited to add: Korean to English (and vice versa) is VERY different. There are no actual "direct" translations. That "fell for" comment from Kook about RM is just that. He loved him from the moment he saw him. Not in a sexual way, but that he just really liked RM/thought RM was "cool". I honestly can't think of an English word/term that would be better...but it's all up to the person actually DOING the translation to figure out how to..."translate it best", I guess you could say. There are MANY words - in both languages - that have no "equal" in the other language, which only makes the translations a bit more difficult for those who do them. South Koreans practice what is called "skinship". They are actually encouraged to hug...and more. ALMOST close to what a couple would do in any other country - resting their head on each other's shoulders, holding hands walking around, laying down with one's head on their friend's lap, etc. Both males and females participate. The only way to - SOMETIMES - tell if people are a couple is when you see matching outfits, but even then, it still isn't a guarantee. Many friends (again, males and females) often get matching jewelry and even outfits. However, South Korea (oddly enough) ISN'T big on PDA. Couples kissing in public is (or used to be?) REALLY rare...so even a guy and a girl holding hands doesn't necessarily mean they're a couple. In many/most cases, they are just friends, especially for those in high school or younger. When it comes to iTunes - #1's = countries. So, "The most #1's" means it hit #1 in the most countries. "It hit 100 #1's in 'X' amount of time" means it hit #1 in 100 countries within a certain time frame. Etc. Oh, and yes, it's global. With as many Koreans as there are who do love K-Pop, K-Pop isn't as well liked in Korea - as a whole - compared to other genres.
Hi dears. 68yo Army here. I'm still in the middle of watching this but thought I'd take a moment to let you know that all 7 members are currently serving in the military.
Kim taehyung new song is coming on 30th December his birthday
Song name wherever UR😊
15:05 That y I like to say “you become a fan because of their music but a army because of their personality”
All 7 members are currently serving in the military now.
49:00 Worldwide , he broke Adelle's years old record of most itunes in iTunes history
So I'm going to pop things in here as they come up:
They only had their diplomatic passports for that one trip.
Even though I already knew all that I just loved reading your comment. It was very well written and concise. Well done Army!💜
@@MissSmartypants555 Thank you. It actually started out a lot longer but I reckoned I got carried away and trimmed it down, LOL

Those iTunes history are all time world history not just in region. Thanks for Your pov towards them. 💜
About to comment that, and also check Spotify history, you'll be surprised.
There are men who love these guys to.
J Hope said in his live video with ARMY right before he left for the military that as much as we love the members, he cherishes them!
Those fans with those signs had just finished a charity project in the name of BTS and were celebrating at the concert.
If they finished their college careers and two of them received a medal for their dedication to their studies, J.K. and Jimin received such an honor
All members are in the army now
Rm is more of a NAS fan then Eminem honestly
The vocal line is impressive, their performance is unique and their voices harmonize perfectly, they write, produce, play instruments just like the rap line are ambassadors of high-end brands: Jk from Calvin Klein, Tae from Celien and Cartie and Jimin of Dior and Tiffany and Co have been present at many charity events and are part of the Million Sellers for selling over a million copies of their solo albums as well as the rap line are out of this world
YOU ALSO CAN REACT THAT LIVE PERFORMANCE EUPHORIA AT WIMBLEY STADIUM OR BTS CONCERT AT JAPAN.
sadly all of them now in Military, they cannot do the live like we used to wait of them going live together.but next year will be there comeback as A GROUP again and i am excited for that😇.
thanks for the reaction
Not company issue's their company stands behind what they do but other's don't. The company told them to write songs about where they are as individuals, what they want to sing rap about what's important to them. So they don't follow the Norms of the Kpop Industry.
The 7 are in the military now. The last 4 members joined in December 12.
They all can play at least one musical instrument of some kind mostly piano/keyboard and 3 members have played instruments on stage Suga and Jin both have played Piano and Guitar on stage while Jung kook has played Drums on stage.
I love your reaction, love listening to your opinion about guys.
(All the members are really humble.)
He sometimes talk about how he is sort of "less talented" than other members & really underestimates himself most of the time.
I'm telling u guys Run BTS (variety show) is like therapy to me
U should react to that
Ep.24 would be a great start
Or all their recent episodes like telepathy special, flying yoga etc

I am 51....I am proud to be a army ....i am from Indonesia
ARMY is a n acronym which stand for Adorable Representive MC for Youth that's why we spell out out in Capital letters.
Actually he was 15 when they debuted. His birthdate is 01.09.1997, debut was 13.06.2013. So he was 15, almost 16 when they debut.
apparently the reason V was hidden is because of his voice and visuals they didnt want any other company to snatch him up. from what I heard back then people would try and get trainees to leave their companies and join other ones.
Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. ....
Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee)
Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo)
Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11
JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8
RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13
Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo)
V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo)
JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo
Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age.
I'm interested to know who are the other 3 that has master degree?

when someone do use "bts is gay" as an insult, the best way would be to just say "yes they are" it baffles me people still use being gay as an insult 💀
i mean yes they are rainbowy as hell and are married to each other, all of em,what you gonna do about it? 😭

Tbf gay is against the biological norm. Scientifically speaking, not societal speaking.

Now all the members are gone for military and they all will return together in 2025, you a lot time to react to their new albums and stuff their releasing after joining the army . despite as powerful and huge hybe is big 3 still is a thing in korea specifically big 3 might not be the biggest company but they are the foundation of kpop it still hugely matters in kpop industry and other than hybe artist and a few other groups big 3 artists are still dominating so...yeah it exists and has a lot of power over korean media and television....although because of the power hybe holds right now a lot of fans like calling it big 4 but it still is a controvercial subject since a lot of them disagree that hybe should be in there and that is because hybe just blew up right ow and wasn't there since the very begining it did not empact kpop in anyway back then
Hybe's earrings do succeed the earrings of big three combined but still BIG 3 is vaild because of the huge media influence they have even now.

@@valenandtheoin 49:56 when you mention they always have artificial/Fake tattoos and piercings but Jungkook has real tattoos and piercings, Jin has real piercings,Jimin has real piercings, Yoongi/Suga has real piercings, Namjoon/RM and Taehyung/V has real piercings the only member who has never had a piercing is Hobi/J Hope but all of the members have real tattoos but many have hidden real tattoo but the members who have many tattoos are Jungkook and Jimin but all have a tattoo wrote 7 because of their friendship
RM his tattoo is on his leg near the ankle
Jin his tattoo is on his lower waist
Suga his tattoo is on his left shoulder
J hope is tattoo is on his Achilles heel
Jimin is tattoo is on his index finger
V is tattoo is on his leg just above his knee
Jungkook his tattoo is on his neck
So they have real tattoos
And in 52:22 when he mentioned he got a math award and his respond is Grammy that is funny because a math award who see a math award? Anybody can’t see a math award that is not exist 😂
For the member who is the pillar of the group is J Hope because he always putting the others members before him more than Jimin because if you thinking about that jimin is the pillar of the group forget about it because J Hope is more important for the group and in a interview RM say after V say a question about if you can quit the role of the leader who you choose to be the leader and RM say J Hope because J Hope is also the second leader of BTS
It is really nice to see honest and genuine reactions from the video. Hope to see more BTS reactions on this channel later on!
All of their records being mentioned are worldwide records not just in Korea.
BTS BIGGEST GROUP in the world 💜
That was the second night at Wembley I was there singing to BTS with 60,000 other fans. BTS are only one of 12 groups/artist to ever sell out Wembley Stadium and only 1 of 7 to do it more than once.
All 7 bts members are in the military now
-Bangtan bomb is their random behind the scenes content. ARMY Bomb is the lightstick
-their age range when they debuted was 15-20
-BigHit still exists, not as BigHit Ent. but as BigHit Music. it's under HYBE
-yes, they are family. the boys themselves always say this every chance they got
-RM do admire Eminem but his role model is Nas
-BTS was supposed to be a hiphop group, their boss told SUGA and RM that they don't need to dance but the management decided they'll debut them as kpop idols (which requires dancing), and that's when they started looking for vocalists.. anyway, SUGA knows how to dance, he even knows how to b-boy but dancing is not his top priority (plus he got into an accident)
-their version of Young Wild and Free is called Graduation Song, that's why they're singing it cause that's when Jin just got graduated
-the reason V mentioned about the purple is because ARMY covered their ARMY Bombs in purple plastic or something to surprise BTS, it was before the ARMY Bomb could change colors.. then he invented "Borahae" (I purple you) on the spot
-they used to upload solo songs on SoundCloud.. during their solo era, they uploaded those songs on Spotify, but there's still some original songs that remained on SoundCloud.. but maybe they will use SoundCloud for their cover songs from now on or something like a subunit single
-BTS actually made the name ARMY, it's an acronym of something that goes along with BTS' message
- 58:24 it was Jin's birthday. written on those hearts is Jin's name. ARMY organized that to surprise him
-Vlive is no more. all contents from vlive are now transferred to Weverse.
-we know about their families, but BTS are very private about them and we respect that.
A.R.M.Y. stands for Adorable Representatives and MC's for Youth.
Thank you for taking the time to create all these bullet points that add to the info presented. You worked hard. 😊 💜
@@andriaciel5468 you're welcome ☺️ Happy new year 💜
Just one clarification - SUGA actually said during his D-Day promotion that he likes to dance now.
Thanks for reaching out to BTS.
35:40 sim vocês estão certos sobre isso, um exemplo disso na prática é o próprio BTS: o Nam é o líder embora ele seja mais jovem que outros membros, todos do BTS sem exceção lhe dá o devido respeito pela sua posição ☺️
They don't due to their families have received hate when people have found out any of the members siblings names. If and when they have girlfiends/boyfriends we as ARMY will support them however they proberly won't tell us because the Hater's who are many will go after their loved one's.
fyi, the college Jin graduated from was 2nd in Seoul (like Harvard) and he went to classes on campus.
I've been ARMY since 2016 (I'm 52)
(Mamamoo is another "KPop" group that are incredible "Artists".... 4 woman powerhouse of vocals and visuals - check out their video AYA)
(Also check out The Rose- a K Rock Band,
and DPR Ian - a soloist from Australia who started his career over in SKorea and writes about his experiences with bipolar disorder. )
Oh my God.How much I miss the full members of BTS.Everyone would have returned from military service as soon as possible.I already watch every day all the videos with their participation everywhere.Without BTS, the music industry and the entertainment industry have become less colorful.I miss their songs, music videos, their legendary performances, concerts and of course their sincere conversations, their laughter in RUN BTS,online broadcasts of each
.
BТС просто надежда на лудшее,душевное.Они без фальши и такие родные.БТС-это просто нескончаемая любовь.💜И я не девчонка ;к сожелению,а бабушка,которой 51.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
thank you for your reaction i enjoyed watching it please do react to other documentaries about BTS💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I recommend you to watch/react to "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS" (2023 Update). A documentary of their success. Starting from their debut year upto 'Permission to Dance' Era.💜
Jungkook debuted when he is 15, he is 13 when he join bighit as a trainee.

Ohh! 💥💜
if someone is younger in age but senior as an artist then they all called sunbaenims.
41:44 no, they also assume that you are gay because you look handsome and clean and not too masculine
one of those "oh hes cute! I bet hes gay." type of situations
if you had a totally diffrent look that people would be much less likely to think that you might be gay and arent just playing around
also since its a general consensus that you run the risk of being perceived as gay if you are affectionate with your male friends, its easy to conclude that you aren't being afraid of that because you actually are gay/bi
GOATS of Kpop
Chen of EXO is married and I can't remember seeing a picture of his wife ever. For her safety. It's naive to suggest people wouldn't care if BTS members revealed partners. Some of them are already being stalked and subjected to online hate- the company announced just today that they were suing people for it.
49:10 it's worldwide they all are record makers & breakers
BTS BIGGEST BAND in the world ❤
The Big 3 will continue to be the Big 3 because they are the pioneers in the kpop industry, so this goes back much further to the music industry and as it was established in its beginnings, the fact that Hybe is now a massive industry with excellent results does not make it part of the Big 3 but it does not stop it from competing with them in the market with respect to its artists
In working field if someone has more experiences regardless of their age/gender you call them Sunbae 선배님. within a guys group the oldest called hyung 형 and the youngest dongsaeng 동생 or maknae 막내, However for girls eonni 언니 for the oldest. Girls call older guys oppa 어빠 and guys call older girls nuna 누나 (if they’re close)
all 7 of them are in army rn
14:25 - how you comment starting from here is the reason I'm subscribing to your channel 👍🏻looking forward to more BTS contents from you both.
Thank you so much 💜
Welcome to BTS world!
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜OT7
My bias is RM beside being the main rapper, composer and songwriter of the group with more than 215 songs credits under his name , he's the reason the CEO of their company decided to form the band because he saw how talented he is and wanted to make sure he depute,BTS wouldn't be here without him 💙 he's such a beautiful person inside and out , no one match his lyricism, please react to his solo songs Wildflower, still life ,joke, chande ft wale ,closer 💙💙
Thank you so much for this ❤ I love ur reactions so much.
A guide to StrayKids next pleaseeeee😊
Bangtan forever 💜♾️😌
Gaes...bahkan Jungkook melakukan live streaming untuk army lebih dari 2 jam...dengan lebih dari 10 juta penonton😊
Nosotros los latinos también mostramos mucho afecto, siempre nos saludamos de beso en la mejilla 😊
Plsssss react to BTS's Christmas Carol Medley [2019 SBS Gayo Daejeon_Music Festival] Thankyou!!!💜💜💜
All bts members are serving currently and will comeback all mid 2025 to be exact
Jin and hobi are back this year
A couple of context points ; The reason Jungkook was emotional on his birthday was because they had just played a prank on him, falsely scolding him harshly for mistakes- he was asking the camera man if the crew was in on it.
Edited to add:
Korean to English (and vice versa) is VERY different.
