It takes a tough baler to handle the added tonnage of high-moisture hay. Vermeer Generation 3 Pro balers are built from the ground up in Pella, Iowa, to bale wet, heavy crops with the versatility to also bale dry hay. A heavy frame, large bearings, heavy-duty chains and poly pickup bands provide strength while the swift cutting action comes from the 17-knife chopping system. Add the simplicity of a new netwrap system located on the rear of the machine, and it’s how operators win the day when wanting to make high-quality hay.

Your Lely made baler was a great wet hay baler and then u let it slip through your fingers and let agco buy it and this is what you guys come up with.... Wow come on Vermeer get your crap together that's a joke compared to your old Lely design baler....

Any baler can roll up a descent dry bale which I will admit those 504 do, do a good job at but when making strictly wet hay day in and day out that's roto cut idno about that there's definitely better balers out there than the 504 just my preference.... Owned a Vermeer that was made by Lely with the roto cut.. loved it.. traded in on the new series not impressed wasn't my old baler that I had traded for sure..switched to krone highly impressed...just saying in my opinion definitely room for some improvement on the new series not saying I would never go back but they definitely need to change a few things before I would consider...
