They're missing out.
You thought the remake was GOOD? I hated it and I’ve read the book at least three or four times (I’ve lost count at this point) and the original followed the book better than the shitty remake that just slapped the book’s name onto it, along with King’s name like it was going to follow the book.
You should do 80s horror movies. Gremlins, Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, children of the corn, the shining, Aliens, soo soooo many!
that's the only problem is because 70's and 80's horror films are so famous, everyone is going to get it right. 90's were not known for horror films other than It and Blair Witch so no wonder no one is getting them right
I am twelve and classified as a boomer because I love and know all 90's horror movies and when people couldn't guss The Lepricon as one of the movies I was a little mad and Scream was the first horror movie I watched in 2014

First the lights will flicker on and off. Next, the phone will ring but there will be nobody there. Finally, he'll arrive on the ghost of the bus that ran him over.
Blair Witch marketing was brilliant before release. They really made it seem like it was a found footage release. And since that style of filming was brand new, people bought the story, lol which is why that film made soooooo much more than it cost to make. And when you're listening and following the story, the reveal of him standing in the corner at the end made the entire theater scream in terror.
Anything by Stephen King is a masterpiece. He puts so much effort into the stories. Like IT for example. There is so many details and an answer to almost all questions because of how much time he spend creating the world for his stories. He will forever be my idol.
Classics are Firday the 13th series, nightmare on elm street, Texas chainsaw, Halloween, Hellraiser, even Child's Play and Puppet Master, these are the softer horror for young teens.
Leprechaun was hilarious, he drove around in a little car and pogo sticked someone to death and in the begging the old lady after she died she was blinking clear as day
