I know many people hear this and think why don't you just make your own Songs... and tbh at first my thoughts were ugh here we go again changing the lyrics but these alternative Christ focused versions have really blessed me 😊 After hearing the originals soooo many times its weird hearing different lyrics but the truth is YES those songs are super catchy but the words we sing do affect us in our behaviors and the way we talk and think. THIS puts praise to God on my lips and even though I hear the original Lyrics most of the time in my head I sometimes hear what she sings instead and I love it!

I struggled with suicide and depression as a result of rape and neglect and was so angry at Him for so long. When it became too much I tried to kill myself until dropping the knife and realizing that how I felt was beyond me. I felt something deep inside of me, almost like a call. I know it sounds insane but you're not alone. You've never been alone and you never will be. God allows us to go through things sometimes as a result of sin or just to make us stronger. I understand how you feel and if you ever need help talk to God, me, someone.
