God bless you!!!!! You choked me up. 😢 Welcome Home!!!!!!!!! Love❤your interview. I’m sorry you had to go through hell. It had to be hell. Glad you are now on American Soil!!
Whether or not the person conducting the interview is good, fair or terrible, they're trying. The people criticizing are most likely doing nothing besides criticizing.
You should look into the ammunition of the United States used in some of our conflicts / Wars. A lot of them have a nuclear byproduct projectile that are radioactive and cause a lot of health issues. I forget the name of it but it's used in a lot of tank Munitions and things like that. Because it's very dense / hard and we'll go right through but when it explodes it contaminates the area. And by the way thank you for your service. It is a shame how the Vietnam vets were treated.. as for your son a lot of the burn pits that they have over there where he did his tours are causing a lot of health issues to the soldiers. My opinion I think whoever was responsible for making you all have those burn pits and the other things that harmed our soldiers should be held accountable. It's a shame that you go and fight for your country and do your duty. Then have to come back home and deal with health issues on top of all of the other issues that War causes to our soldiers is flat out unacceptable. Because you can't tell me that they didn't know that these things would cause issues to our service men and women.

Think about how the communists pulled MY Lai massacres everyday. But that's cool, because it was their own people? It's excusable to Fonda types, because it was "their" war
@@M98-j9k Yes sir. Sadly these are the same people who are destroying the country today. To be surrounded by the enemy. Knowing they wait till night to come out and kill. Excuse they think they are so much better. Well these are the same people who beat, burn, loot, cities all to protest the killing of a worthless junkie... don't let them get you down.
You know nothing. You blame this man for what Johnson did...and yet you are still probably a Democrat who's history is steeped in depravity and yet you only point out other people's flaws.
A 2 hour interview, huh? Let me summarize the important thing about this man's Vietnam "story". He allowed himself to be sent to someone else's country where he did not belong. That war was NOT his fight. He was a chump and a pawn of his bully and dysfunctional Government. His time there did nothing for American freedom, security and safety. He is not a hero nor is he anyone's victim. He is a survivor of an American tragedy and got a 2nd chance at life. Anything else he says is for sordid people who get off on war stories. That took about 1 minute.
If you got such a hard on for non Vietnam shit, & Putin’ down American government shit, and just being a shit in general, my question is why the f*ck are you still living in American, ‘cause we sure as shit don’t need you, so just move!! It’s not like we’ll miss you, you ain’t special.
@@benedicthampus4964 For starters...I 'm a proud Vietnam/Draft resistor. It was because of people like me that help hasten the end of an 11 year American tragedy that wasted and almost destroyed America. Ultimately, that saved American lives. I did that as a teenager. Since your question is a loaded one....that's all you get.
@@topgeardel You came here to watch a man speak of his service so you could belittle him? Congratulations. Maybe you can do an interview about how your heroic actions shortened the war to 11 years....
@@M98-j9k Yet another Neanderthal that thinks he can comment intelligently. There was NOTHING "heroic" for guys going to Vietnam...willing or unwillingly. They were chumps and pawns of their Government and the US military/industrial complex. If you aren't from that era, you don't know sh*t. Nobody cares about interviewing people like me b/c they get off on war crap. Hey Jim ! Good old BMC days ! I was at Danang Air Base 8/68 to 8/69 Welcome Home Brother !

Thank you for your service.
The Government don't have respect for veterans and just disposal them like trash but for me I always have respect for veterans
Thank you for your service!🙏🇺🇸🎉
I can see why they have comments disabled on many of these interviews. The trolling on here is despicable.
Tks for your service sir

It called depleted uranium and it wasn't used until the M1 Abrams come out.

Don't like this interviewer gets too personal with people's ancestry. The interview suppose to be about his military service not his family tree.
He does that on every interview.
Terrible interviewer, How does he come up with all the stupid questions that had nothing to do with Vietnam.
IMO the interviewer sounded like this is your life. I was ready to get up and walk away.
They need to edit some of these interviews. Too many aaahs.
The army put him in comms, too!
Cut to the chase. Too much time on family background. Now I don't want to watch the rest of the video.
Urmanic... really? REALLY???
Too many family questions. IMO
Ya know, ya know, ya know, basically basically basically, unlistenable.
Thank you for your service... bet he is cringing at how many times he says aahhhh....WOW...THOUSANDS 🤣 😂
To topgeardel
I see you are back to leave your disgusting comments
Go read or run
Why do you want to say mean thing about this man ?
Shame on you

If this G.I. felt vengeful due to wrongdoing, think how the surviving victims of My Lai and other atrocities must of felt.
Exactly. A "small" issue that most of the people who watch this sh*t don't acknowledge.

His difficulty in speaking is a deal breaker
Great at being a veteran, but not great at public speaking!!! Just commenting.
