Thanks for showing this 16 foot tiny house. I personally am most attracted to tiny houses on the smaller side of the spectrum and would welcome more videos of tiny homes in the 12 to 16 foot range that somehow still manage to squeeze all the basic functions into such compact spaces.
This tiny is as cute as a button! Small, yet airy, and it's not missing a thing! You're right, this is a nod to the original tiny house movement. This size is so practical as well, and the big added plus is the fact that it's easy to tow. I'd hook up this baby any day! A shout out to Summit Tiny Homes, you guy's did a phenomenal job on this here. It's a cute tiny little gem, I just loved it! Definitely saving this one as inspiration for a future mobile build because it's just the right size, a home away from home. This honestly made me realize that sometimes the basics are all you need: cooking, eating, a place to sleep, and to wash up in. This is my total kind of glamping, lol. What would be safer from the bears at Yosemite? Or more comfortable?! Well guy's I'm looking forward to whatever comes next, you guy's never fail to impress me, lol. From Vernon and follow I follow the tiny house movement, thats where I came across this tiny home. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tiny unit. It packs a punch and I've viewed thousands. If I could add two things they would be an extra window in the loft for cross ventilation, and.... this hasn't been done by ANY tiny home I've seen, turn part of the couch into a recycliner!! Tucks away when not in use and everyone loves them. But I love this. It's gorgeous and very well thought out
I’m always amazed at how much amenities they can put in such a small space. It looks luxurious, spacious and I love the interior/exterior of the Thistle!
@@pinut187 yes, it dont look usefull. only a micro wave? need alwaysa supermarket close to get plastic food. xD and i eat sitting at the coach without a table. ugh
@@stuartsutherland7664 I’m new to this world of tiny homes. Just began exploring it. So, I’m confused re: your comments about hot water tank & washer/dryer. Did u mean they could have gotten a smaller hot water tank? And if no washer/dryer, do u mean it’s better to just do laundry by hand?
@@maryb6672 washing laundry by hand is another choice. This tiny house offers convenience with that. It can be powered by solar energy stored in batteries better for off-grid living.
I love it! I'd mount a tv above the stairs or something. Doesn't look like a ton of space for clothing, but maybe a small dresser could be placed between the foot of the bed and the railing.

Amazing. Downtown Vernon was only about 4 blocks long when my family moved there so very many years ago. The best place to grow up ever. I would love to have this layout.
In this range of limited space this tiny house is so well organized. Love the toilet and the shower. The fireplace is also very inviting a perfect set up to spend my next long vacation. Talking of the stairs I definitely suggest a big rope Something to handle if you have to go downstairs at night don’t you think so ? Thanks again Exploring we keep in touch.
Definitely a very tiny home.....but what is done looks high quality. Too small to or every day living....... Someone very dedicated to tiny living would appreciate this "Tiny Home".
Beautiful work! I love the well thought out layout on this one. For personal preferences I would add a second window in the loft for cross ventilation and more light. The second thing would be to opt to exchange the microwave and dorm fridge for an apartment size fridge in that space instead if possible. Otherwise, I love everything about this tiny!
Very well designed. The one thing I didn't see was space for clothing storage, unless you were going to put that under the bed. It is small and compact, with very little storage for outdoor activities or art and crafts, which might require some sort of outdoor shed, but this is the best "tiny" tiny that I have seen.👍👍
Love it! I wish I knew the stain color for the interior SO much I loved in this tiny house :) Thank you for sharing it. Wish we had this company in US also!
This is in my top 5 favorites, I think. I'd put the door on the same wall as the seating, make the door all glass, so could sit there to look out. I'd put a second window in the loft opposite the 1st so I'd get better airflow and light. I'd make the mirror above the bathroom sink far larger and make the window in there larger, too - or add a tiny super-high window in the shower to let in light and let hot air moist out. Needs more clothes storage in there, but the area above the washer/dryer combo and the place where the loft's railing is could be used for that. Still loveeeee this unit. If only there was a space for a wood stove. But, if the area is so tiny, maybe there is no real cost savings. Oh, make the loft a one-angle slanted roof for solar and make the living room are flat to double as a deck. Not sure that last bit would work...
@@bencanby9623 Not sure but it’s not light. It was a remodel and original person installed extra plywood and drywall that was not necessary. Problem is you can’t park these in tv parks. So if u take them on the road it will be hard to find parking. Have to plan ahead. Some low key parks may not care..
I like this so much more than all those 50 million dollar luxury house tours. This place would be so cozy to live in. The only thing I would miss is a place for my PC setup.
This was gorgeous. I feel like there was some sacrifice of function for the sake of looks, though. Like in the kitchen, having books and a vase instead of like, a toaster or something. Makes for a nice picture but not realistic. Or saying the single shelf they chose in lieu of cabinets would be useful for "extra knickknacks." Er, you mean dishes or food? I'd also I'd have a two-burner cooktop in that kitchen nook, with shelves above. And I'd definitely need at least _some_ clothing storage (there's literally not even a single shelf or bin for that?). All that said, they did manage to fit a lot into a truly tiny space, and the aesthetic _is_ pretty. It's certainly inspiring.

Well there are so many more that are better.

Yeah, install a shelving unit for clothes in place of the railing.

Great looking tiny house. The big shower is fantastic! But I do miss a full size wardrobe. Have to have somewhere to hang coats.

We just built a 16ft one similar to this design. It’s gorgeous. And starting on another model that’s more modern.
