I can't get a consistent powder drop to save my life with this thing. I'm using blue dot and shooters world. Makes me wanna send the whole press back and try a Dillon
You have oil or some contamination in the drum or funnel of your powder dispenser, OR, you're using the rifle drum on pistol cases, OR, you aren't lifting a full stroke out of it all the way to the top with the casing, OR, you're using some sort of stick grain powder that doesn't like auto dispensers.
I just bought the Hornady Lock-N-Load Ap and am trying to set up for 30-30 Winchester rounds . The bushings you are talking about , I know the long one is for pistols the there is the next size down and then a shorter one . Which one do I use for the 30-30 rounds ? The middle size bushing ? Any help would be appreciated . The manual says #19 Pistol #18 is for 20 - 270 and #17 is for 7mm - 45 cal rifles . I'm Lost . Thanks so much for reading
Next question Which do you prefer , Lee Dies or RCSB. I think that's the name Not liking Lee's too much so fat as for resizing the brass on the 30-30 . To get full lengths on sizing the nut is almost coming off the thread .
Well done, thanks!

@@theaveragemarksman4653 After I cleaned with 1 shot, I guess I should have cleaned it with a rag/cloth. Yes, it's a stick powder
@lemarcwhetstone6354 *ive had issues with it for years. It's always +/- .02 - .07 off*

You'll want the short bushing with the bigger of the two holes for 30cal rifle stuff.
@@theaveragemarksman4653 OK thanks so very much !!! Now do I put the bigger taper facing down or up in the shaft ? Again Thanks
@@theaveragemarksman4653 Never mind , I found that part in the manual deep countersink facing up. Cool !!
@@sparlin88 taper faces the shell

Actually I prefer hornady and Lyman
Rcbs is ok for pistols and so is lee. Rifles AND pistols I still prefer the other two.
Thanks
