Thanks for sharing. I have a '73, with Overdrive. It is completely original, except for a new top, and a new battery. Colour is Mimosa yellow, it's a great little car.
I bought a 1974 TR-6, Carmine Red, in 1974 and kept it for 25 years. I added a factory hardtop, an overdrive transmission, and wire wheels. I drove it all over the US multiple times. Loved all of my time with that car, even all of the repairs and upgrades that I did.
Had a yellow ‘73 back in the day, with red line tires. Loved that car. Nothing better than dropping the top and going for a cruise on a balmy summer night.
Oooo What a Beautiful TR 6, and a Great colour BR GREEN. She is Just Stunning!!! I have owned 3 MGB GT’s by far the better car was my 1972 GT with Crome wire wheels. I added a front spoiler which made straight line handling more stable, and braking was improved, and a speed increase! Top speed was 116 mph. But I really would love to have a TR6. The TR6 The Art Of Cars. Thank you for sharing your beaut car. Drive safe and keep smiling. JB. East Surrey. UK.
Great looking car! Thanks for sharing, I'm a second owner of a 1972 TR6 w/OD that's been heavily modified but still has original motor and transmission. I've owned it for at least 1/2 its life. I don't recall ever seeing a TR6 with air conditioning that worked before! Congrats to you! My car has been dead reliable over the decades, they are great little cars!
My mum had a triumph dolomite sprint when I was a kid and Ur interior looks same URS looks beautiful with no rust I remember someone having a triumph spitfire I think it nearly strapped in half from the rust in uk weather
My first car in high school was a ‘69 TR-6. Second car, college, was a ‘74 TR-6. A lot of fun, but soooo many problems. Bought a ‘69 Benz 280SL in 1996 and never looked back. The Benz is the car I always hoped the Triumph would be. She’s just coming off a three-year nut-and-bolt restoration, looks great, and should go another fifty years.
