Honestly not a huge fan of Modi, but India should be a Hindu country. We Hindus have no other country to go to where are interests will be politically expressed. But a Hindu country doesn't mean that minorities should be prosecuted or democracy should be compromised. Plus no one bats an eye at minority prosecution in Pakistan or Afghanistan, it is only reserved for India.
Changing of Muslim place names to Hindu names is very justifiable, especially in the heartland of Hinduism (Uttar Pradesh). I mean can you imagine a place in Saudi Arabia called Krishnaraja Nagar? Obviously not. It's very admirable of Modi to be brave enough to reclaim Hindu culture which has been oppressed for a thousand years.

I think what people dont know that india does promote secularism, but once you find out how its actually like here you'll know. In a democratic country where you want to judge all people fairly, is it really relevant to have that? That's why we have flawed democracies, both India and US fall into those categories. And this segregation ideology runs deep in some communities than others, recently there was a person from the Muslim Community who said there'd be another country for Muslims from India, and that never really made headlines cuz it doesn't get views. The whole point of Pakistan's existence was to take muslims from undivided India, but some just want that to happen again.
