2018 Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic

The Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic was started in 2003 when a group of guys from Galati Yacht Sales and Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort decided it was time to bring a big money tournament back to the Destin area. The rest, as they say, is history.
This years tournament featured a record 91 boats with over a $2 million dollar purse.

Rodney Pratt the video has to be done by Sunday morning at 10am so they can watch it at the Awards Banquet so it’s impossible to insert their fishing and release videos by that date since it’s due the following morning.

Wdym.... say you had a boat and you wanted your family to use it too. But you didn't want to drive it when they were going. Or you just want to fish yourself and be in the main deck with your friends.

If your driving you aint fishing. And the ole saying on big boats is everyone gets a turn to drive. On long overnight trips like most of these are, everyone takes a turn on watch and on the helm, except maybe the owner and family unless they want too. Most of these boats require 50-100 ton license to be insurable and it doesn’t make sense for owner to be that guy.
