A $10,000 car can easily outrun a $70,000 car due to the fact that it's not just "Turn it all the way up, wait for light and go!"....It takes knowledge and skills as well as great driving ability to race No Prep. You have to remove power from the car to get it down the track, but remove too much and you lose, remove to little and you spin and/or wreck! It's the new way to race..

Have you ever street raced? Obviously not or you'd know that's also what happens when you race on the street, which is what "No Prep" racing is trying to mimic. Whoever has the most expensive car at a drag race will do all the winning 9 times out of 10. Any half-ass driver with a decent car can go straight down a regular drag strip and call themselves a drag racer, but try that same shit at a non prepped track OR the street and you'll find your ass in the ditch. That's the point! You have to THINK to race no prep/street....removing power etc. Remove too much power, lose the race.....remove too little and end up in the wall.
