id go 17x9 +35 RPF1 all around with 255/40 indy 500s square. will be lightweight, strong, meaty as fuck, grip much harder and last a long time. also, pretty damn affordable. will look fuckin beautiful too. stay away from crazy offsets, they mess up the fds suspension geometry. stock fd wheel is like 16x8 +50, so moving to a 17x9 +35 is near perfect upgrade. fitment will be near flush with the fat meats. car will ride much better too. you could do 18s too with a more aggressive offset obviously, but i promise you the 17s will perform and ride better.
@@verdict1163 I'd never sell my VSKF's, they look too good, and they're worth around 2,500-3,000 in this market. If I sold them I wouldn't be able to get them back
@@TsuchiFD yea definitely dont sell those lol. they are the ultimate fd "cool" wheel. but also they arent ideal to beat up on the tog you would hate to crack one on good bump or gap. crack a rpf1 no big deal, couple hundo and u got a new one plus they are plentiful.

All of this rings true. I went with Fikse 18x8.5/9.5 on mine, but also installed some Ohlins DFVs so the ride is still pretty amazing.

Reccomend downsizing in wheel size and getting stickier tires. Tire compound matters more than width if you are trying to grip more.
