Peart hits the kick with so much force that during the quarter-note sections it sounds like he’s playing 8th notes where the 1, 2, 3 and 4 are accented and the “and” of those beats are ghosted. Does anyone else hear that?

They’re ghost notes and he does them purposefully. If you have a good subwoofer in your car you can feel them. He did it in almost every song
