  • The Half Somersault Maneuver can be an effective alternative to the Epley Maneuver. Specifically for those individuals who are not able to perform the Epley Maneuver due to physical restrictions.

    I have been doing this for years. However you want to hold each position until the spinning or moving stops with your eyes, it can take almost a minute, I focus on a fixed object when doing all the steps. When you first drop your head down do it as fast as you can and this forces the fluid to move the crystal, if you do it gently you might need to repeat the steps.

      Hello @CandiceLynne-ec1gu, thanks for watching! Unfortunately, I cannot provide advice or comments on specific cases without performing a physical examination and taking a complete history. However, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional who can suggest modifications suited to your neck issues.

    Hi! Thanks for the great video! Do you know how many days in a row you should do the maneuver? I did it today and feel better, but feel like I could hopefully get even better. Thank you!

      Hi Jaime: I cannot make recommendations on specific cases when I have not performed a physical examination. That being said, I usually have patients perform this procedure for several days until the majority of symptoms subside. Cheers!

    How to find out which ear is the problem, the right ear or the left ear?

    • @kinetichealthonline
      @kinetichealthonline  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello, thanks for watching. Unfortunately, I cannot provide advice or comment on specific cases without performing a physical examination. However, in general, when using the half somersault maneuver for BPPV, you can determine which ear is affected based on which side produces vertigo symptoms when the maneuver is performed. If you experience vertigo when your head is turned to the right, it suggests the right ear is affected, and if vertigo occurs when turning to the left, it suggests the left ear is affected. Always consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis.

    Hi, i have bppv that seems to have moved from one side to tte other.. going on 2 months now and its pure hell. My eye movements have stopped but the vertigo is still here. The eply doesnt seem to do anything for me and tte vertigo now cones on if i lie flat. Im at my wits end as this is literally ruining my ( and my poor wifes) life..... Any advise would be greatly appreciated

      Thank you for taking the time to watch and engage with my content. I must clarify that I can't provide individual medical advice without a proper physical examination. However, your struggle with persistent BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) does highlight the complexities of this condition. You may find value in my article 'Unraveling Vertigo: The Science and Solutions of BPPV.' The piece delves into the mechanisms behind vertigo and offers an evidence-based perspective. www.motionspecificrelease.com/post/unraveling-vertigo-a-holistic-approach-to-bppv
