The point of the backstories is not for you to feel sympathy for the demon, but it’s for you to remember that they were once human.
Once you become a demon, you become an entirely different entity. Demons are cruel, violent, competitive, and bloodthirsty by nature. Muzan’s blood ensures that they are unable to have human sympathy, making sure that demons cannot band together and rise up against Muzan himself. Most of them have no memory of their human lives, and until they mature as demons, they aren’t even capable of rational thought. Newly turned demons are nothing more than hungry dogs.
Demons are not widely recognized in this world. The demon slayers are not a sanctioned group. The thing to take away from all of this is that even the demons themselves are victims of Muzan. He preys on desperate humans who don’t know any better, and essentially damns them all to hell by offering a way to help, while not making them aware of the consequences.
At the end here, Ume has been forgiven of her sins and is offered a path to heaven to be reborn. Her actions as a demon are not weighed against her, because Daki and Ume are separate beings. She never even made the choice to accept demon transformation. However, Gyutaro is damned to hell. His sin wasn’t his actions as a demon. His sin was his actions as a human, and accepting the demon transformation for both him and his sister.
All of this is to say that Muzan is a master manipulator. He uses humans to further his own goals, just as much as he uses demons. The story is less about human vs demon, and more just humans vs Muzan, as demons are a direct extension of him and his will. Once muzan’s blood leaves the demons as they are dying, they begin to understand everything that has happened.
DAKI and GYUTARO's mother was a venereal disease "Syphilis". It is Japanese name "BAIDOKU" and is written as "Plum poison".
The real name of DAKI is "UME". "UME" is "Plum" in English.
Her real name, UME, comes from "Plum poison" = "Syphilis".
GYUTARO's lean body, ugliness and black bruises are also caused by her mother's "Syphilis".
UME was ridiculed by her samurai about GYUTARO, and from her anger she struck the samurai's eyes.
GYUTARO and DAKI were at the fork between heaven and hell.
At first, Gyutaro didn't try to stay with DAKI because he realized that DAKI could go to heaven. Because Gyutaro is still in the form of a demon, but DAKI has returned to the form of a human and was on the side of the light. That's why GYUTARO shouted, "Go in the bright direction on the other side," and tried to send DAKI to heaven. But DAKI chose to go to hell with GYUTARO.
This anime is just a fictional story, but I can't help but hope that they will be happy brothers the next time they are reborn.
This is just a guess but I think Daki was given a choice to go to heaven because she was 13, according to the bible i think its under 13 but i think thats the only reason because she did end up killing people too
@@tropheusanims698 no it’s because she didn’t have a choice to become a demon. Her brother made that choice not her, she was forgiven by the gods and was able to go to heaven since she never made the decision to become a demon

DAKI does not kill people when they were humans. It's been since I became a demon. She hasn't even chosen to be a demon.
She is being taken by GYUTARO. So GYUTARO may be responsible for all the sins she has made after becoming a demon.

Nezuko’s Demon art doesn’t heal them exactly. It’s fire that only damages demons and demon arts. So it wouldn’t work on normal poison. But since Gyutaro’s poison is a demon art she could destroy it.

The Demon that turned Daki and Gyutaro into demons is immensely powerful and one of the biggest Antagonists in the entire series, now that Daki and Gyutaro are Upper-Moon 6, this means that the demon that turned them must have been promoted up the ranks. We'll see a lot more from him in season 3, he's gonna be an extreme problem - He plays a big role though with some of the Hashira in backstories, other characters, and many events in the story so he's really highly significant within the plot. Can't wait to see more of him in season 3.

Don't say Uzui Tengen is weak. He's not weak but because upper moon 5 is too strong. Furthermore, Tengen was poisoned, so he was much weaker, he must protect Tanjirou, Inosuke, Zenitsu and his wifes. But at the end of the battle, he was still able to solo Gyutaro 1vs1 while exhausted + lost 1 arm + weakened by poison + don't need to using any breathing technique. Don't take Obanai Iguro's words too seriously, he's just a bit harsh, moreover if Iguro Obanai fights with upper moon 6, he can't win, he'll be like Uzui Tengen, seriously injured from poison. If you want a little spoiler on how the later pillars beat upper moon and Muzan, then scroll down:
They get a huge boost in power thanks to something called a mark. With the mark, the pillars will be much stronger than before. Moreover, the reason why they won the upper moons was due to luck, and because they supported each other, through determination, using poison to weaken the upper moon and Muzan, and many other factors. but i should stop spoiling here
Facts! If it wasn't for Tengen, Tanjiro even Inosuke and Zenitsu wouldn't have won let's not forget Gyutaro was the biggest threat of the arc and Tengen a hashira is not a surprised he's able to fight a upper moon demon a hashira is insanely powerful
I feel like they intentionally cut the upper moon meeting because it should be 45mins not 32.
The upperank meeting in the manga isnt even in the entertainment district arc. It's in the swordsmith village arc which is the next arc. The first episode you should see it next arc. They didn't do it intentionally because it isn't even in this arc in the first place.

Akaza is upper 3 and has been a demon longer than Douma. Douma fought Akaza and beat him (taking his spot) which is why Akaza hates Douma.
