Almost no one in Georgia talks like that, especially not in Atlanta.
@@MauiWowieOwiebut people who aren’t from Georgia or Atlanta do right?
@@blueberry-jrpfx779 No, not really. I've been all over the southeast and no one really talks like that. It's an over-exaggerated accent that doesn't really exist, at least not anymore.

If she'd rather risk her son's life to control the situation, it's not House's fault.
House knows he's the only one who can either change her mind or save her son anyway and expect forgiveness. Him accepting defeat is basically murder in his eyes
True but house doesn't care about rules and who's fault it is, he just wants to save the patient
In the mom's defense this would have been the 3rd (i think) diagnosis that house was certain about with the other ones either worsening his condition or doing nothing.
At that point i think a second opinion would be very reasonable
@@UndeadPastaHouse doesn’t care about the patient, he only cares if he solves the puzzle.
@jacobsarac3213 That's not true, that's what everyone in the show says is true.
Does he want to solve the puzzle? Yes. But he's always upset when he solves the puzzle and it's something they can't do anything about. Evaluate his actions in the show. He cares a lot more than people say he does, even Wilson can't see all of it.
This episode is a good lesson to everyone on why you should always wash clothes after buying them.
Chase went full Jasper Cullen....
Can you explain that joke?
NO BC WHY DID I LITERALLY THINK OF JAS 😭😭
Yeah he did! 😂
This fucking short gets recommended to me after I buy new shirts and decide not to wash them before wearing them for the first time in my life OMG
lmao
The algorithm knows all. 😂
Maybe not washing new clothes caused Wilson's terminal cancer diagnosis. Or not.🤷♀️
i'm surprised nobody has used "I tried on clothes without washing them" as an excuse for the parthenogenesis that seems to happen on this show all the time.
I always wash my clothes before I wear them, even packaged underwear. You just never know what could have happened at the store, through travel, and at the factory.
I worked at a Halloween store and a target store, (all costumes were packaged) But even though we had a dressing room i continously caught people changing them selves or their kids in the middle of the isle. That unfortunately included underwear. Super gross 🤢
Same, I always wash new stuff (when possible), especially clothes. I also have really annoying allergies & it helps with that.
I really hated it when I stayed in my dad's guest room & the sheets were itchy. Found out his 2nd wife (my stepmom) didn't wash them before putting them on the guest bed. I washed them immediately (not sure if it was before or after I found out she hadn't). I think that might have been before my synthetic fragrance allergy developed, too. Idk.
They do this so you can't return the clothes. (No refunds!)

Preposterous 😭😭
@@daemianmatthews2062 I'm sure not everyone who works at the CDC was born and raised in Georgia. I'm sure there is a variety of accents there since people tend to move all over America.
@PawleyGirl yeah, there's a saying the more South you go, the more northern it gets.
You skipped my favorite line. “Godot would be faster”
Without treatment, all patients can die.
With or without.
(might just change... when)
I don't know if they still do it, but when I started retail sales back in 1981, new clothes were supposed to be washed because they were soaked in formaldehyde. That's what gave them the crisp feel, they didn't wrinkle as easily, and if they had cotton in them they didn't start deteriorating as fast. And no matter what you did clothes were never as crisp again, no amount of starch, or finishing spray could bring it back to the day you bought it.
Over dyed fabrics were the worst if you lived in the South, you start sweating and your skin becomes that color. I've had blue legs from new jeans before, I was Smurfy. 🤣😂
Wash new clothes, you don't know who tried them on before you. 🤢
👵☮️🖖
Jeans are the exception, unless the new clothes make you itch & one pair did!
@lisaannkeith5480 jeans are not the exception. They're heavily dyed and chemically treated.
I saw a show many years ago where a woman had worms coming out of her nipple because she didn’t wash her new bra and it was infested with eggs or something 🤮
Like insurance they would rather let the kid die than pay you
I made the mistake of wearing new jeans without washing them first only once. Legs were itchy and blue for like three days.
I have sensitive skin, so I always make sure to wash my clothes b4 wearing them.
My parents friends had a daughters birthday with terrible sensitivities and she broke out after hugging my dad who had on a new long sleeved maroon shirt which had never been washed. It was sewing fabric for at home seamstresses.
I usually wash all my materials before making stuff with them. The sizing in the material can be so abrasive to my skin. Plus nothing worse than having the pattern pieces shrink awkwardly 😅
"Hey, I'm a man" followed by "she doesn't wash it either" is hilarious.
What's funny is I've been to the CDC
Most employees are from other states who moved there for work. You'd also be amazed how many people that live in Atlanta are actually from northern or western states who moved here for jobs and cheaper cost of living. That's Atlanta and it's suburbs are full of Democrats but the rest of the state is Republican.
So only democrats care about their health?
Yeah...that is every state dude
Every state has one (or more) large city where people congregate for more job opportunities who mostly vote democrat because they believe they offer better policies as a collective
And the farther you move away frok said cities where people live in very small numbers in greater distances they will vote Republican because they believe their policies help them more as individuals

I used to work in clothing store. Customers were told to leave their underwear on when trying on bathing suits. 9 out if 10 times we'd see them out of the change room without their underwear on thus passing to others whatever std they had. Some sketchy people we would have to throw the bottoms out.

@@KakashHatak3 I’m not sure if you know what a joke is, considering what he said wasn’t one and what I said was lol
@@shirin9452 "what he said wasn’t [a joke] and what I said was"
Of course Wilson was joking. The alternative interpretation would be that neither he nor anyone else washes his clothes, which would require him to be portrayed as filthy. If you've seen the show, you'll know that he's portrayed completely opposite to that; he's proper, conscientious, responsible, and considerate. He'd be voted "medical staff member least likely to contaminate a sterile room", if there was such a vote at the hospital. The fact that you don't realize that he was joking explains how you could fail so miserably at making a joke of your own.
On a meta level 4his is even funnier, bc house is a fake american accent by a british actor while chase is a british character faking an american accent to house...

Goes to show how much red tape makes our life a hell
You realize this is fiction, right? And while it _comments_ on the real world, it can't actually _prove_ anything about it?
@@DrewKimeWhere are you getting this from? They're just saying that the fact the show portrays so many laws being blatantly broken for convenience, enjoyability, and expediency shows how much we are weighed down by these very same laws in our real world.
They never said the show was factual, they never said it was commenting on the real world, and they never said that it made or was proving some obscure point.
They just commented on the way laws are ignored in the series and made a vague comparison to real life
@@lunar9342they literally just said that because it's fiction it can't "go to show" anything, which is something op was implying
@@tmr3421 The thing I don't understand here is that you two are acting like the op is incorrect exclusively because the show is fictional. The fact that the show is fictional is what allows the characters to break so many laws without consequences, which they were saying shows how much such laws complicate things for us in real life. The two of you are acting like it's fictional nature makes this small takeaway invalid. The complexity of the worlds laws are necessary, but they can make what could be a simple yes or no question into a whole quest in and of it's self for the right to ask that question and receive the true answer. I don't understand what you are disagreeing with here, specifically. Is it just that the show is fictional, and therefore it cannot be used as a comparison? Because fictional books and shows frequently have aspects that are comparable to our real world, even unintentionally so. It's part of the fun, to dissect small decisions in writing and see how it compares to the real world it's based off of. So what am I missing here that makes op's comment so bad?
Btw, I apologize for the long-winded comments. I have difficulty condensing my ideas down into something more brief, and to the point.

A high school student has been poisoned with some chemical. In trying to find the source, House and the team first assume that the kid is using drugs and then that the kid has been using pesticide in his gardening, and his mother insists he does neither. They're wrong and she's right, but she's offended that they didn't take her word for it. That, combined with the fact that they don't magically figure out the exact cure on the first try, leads her to lose all faith in them and she refuses to let them keep treating him until the CDC will sign off on it.
