Most people would say perfection doesn´t exist. Well she is really close to perfection.
The thing that throws people about Joss is that when she talks she has this squeaky high-pitched and childishly inflected voice but when she opens her mouth to sing she suddenly is a woman with a powerhouse set of pipes full of deep soul. And she's been like that since she debuted at 16. Amazing.
I'd love a cd of her singing soul classics/covers. Does anybody know if one exists?

Like a lot of the greats in music, - there will only ever be ONE Joss Stone, - just because she doesn't appeal to the young masses doesn't mean she isn't any good. In my opinion she is one of the finest female singers alive today, - In a class of her own, what you hear is pure Joss - not all this "manufactured" and "electronically altered" stuff that the likes of Beyoncé and Adele need before they can produce a good song.

I'm with you. Joss is the only great singer who gives you great music performances without needing a bunch of background stuff. It becomes very personal. I love her.
I forgot to add, I find her damn attractive as well, and as for the outfits she wears, she just dresses as she finds comfortable. Not some of these ridiculous 'see through' or 'hardly anything type' that a lot of these so called singers wear in order to distract one from their lousy singing. Add all that to the fact she has more personality in her little finger than most have in the whole of their bodies and you have one hell of a nice person.
There were The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and today there's Joss Stone... British talent!!

I adore this woman. Not only is she one of the greatest singers around now, but she has a great fun and funny sense of things and an endearing personality. Plus she is really beautiful, which doesn't hurt in the least. Freshly fantastic!!

OMG! This is great. Joss with her incredible quartet. It actually works without the horns and backup singers, since everyone sings from time to time. And, Joss Stone has to be the greatest singer/performer of our time.
Damn, This guitarist is just an extraterrestrial musician. AWESOME. You have to work with him for ever.
