I love to drive my new c3. I have the 90 horsepower diesel engine, which suits the car just fine. Yes I payed the prize for 'all that extra glass', and every penny was worth to be spend on it. It really makes you cheerful. I don't think this car is ugly at all. It has a grown-up interior, nice shape and lots of character. And it's just fun to drive, if you don't make the mistake to take it for a racing car. It's not build for formula 1 wannabes.
it all depends on people's taste, for ex me and my mom share a car, and she is shortert than me and wants a higher driving position. when she sat in fiesta she had problems getting out and didn't like the interior. polo on the other hand was too hard-ish, she had problem with getting in, her head stuck etc. and in c3...everything was perfect. some may say different but hey, that's why they offer so many different models
I like Citroen for their quirkiness but didn't like the previous C3. This one is better but shame they ditched the digital speedometer. Have had Citroen and been no problem.
@thingsidream Obviously you haven't been inside one. Believe me, it's a great feeling. Also for those riding in the back that can see much more, and have more light. And if the sun is too much you can simply slide the cover forward. And btw the zenith windscreen plus the lightweight 16' rims and the front center harm support for 400€...I wouldn't call that overpriced... more then worth it.
northing, Glass as been shatter proff on the frout of cars for years! Side windows and some rears are not always tho. in a roll over only the center and the frout/rear of the car matters. Thats why on F1 cars They have that shark fin thing behide the drivers head on the body so it it rolls the drivers head isnt the first thing the ground hits.
C3 has a nicer dashboard than the Fiesta, exterior the Fiesta wins though but the C3 has the cool zenith windscreen which wins me over. Polo is just old plain looking, don't know why this guy keeps mentioning it.
Bought one today and I'm picking it up next week. I didn't even know about that windscreen feature! :o Can't wait to check it out! Btw it felt very comfortable driving... this guy is rambling.
@thingsidream Showing your stupidity eh? That sunroof is very dimmed and heat / UV protected so sunlight doesnt bother you at all, and it creates a very airy and spaceous atmosphere inside, even on direct sunlight, and you can close the windshield to normal size because it has a roofline in interior that slides forward.
Small Citroen never really seem good enough ok with a big citroen you still get flaws but you get DS ride quality you take the BX, SM & C6 they are good flawed but good. Small and medium sized citroen is cheap.
What a boring new Citroen, that steering sounds like its trying to be like the old self centering system of the spaceship CX. When is PSA going to let the Citroen leg make real style icons again, and without filling them with Peugeot electronics which will go wrong.
you only have to sit in one and you will fall in love. Great car!
All the C3's are amazing little town runabouts, love the 2004 models and will soon have one in the garage.
It's far better than the Fiesta and the Polo in terms of comfort though.
I have a 1.4 8v 75HP and I love it! The interrioir is really nice and quiet. The 1.4 8v 75HP engine have enough power to the 1033kg car! :)

Now i was able to watch it. Thank you from Canada.
Thanks for fixing the copyright issue!
5thG videos are brilliant. I liked C3's dashboard.

Not all cars need to be "sporty"

C3 is the better car the fiesta is boring and don't get me started on the polo. Overall the c3 is cool

What was it like ?
I watch 5th gear to remember how much I love Top Gear.
thanks 5th gear!
It was stuck in my subscription box!

Leg room would have actually not been good if you had the passangers' seat in the same position as the drivers'!
that wind shield is not going to be cheap to replace...
@throughglass08 I know.I sat in one in Paris, and I live in the US and we don't get them.
thanks for fixing the copyright bullshit, it's finally gone out of my subscription, just when youtube added the function to hide videos
Tnx for fixing :D
Be different get a C3
..agree and I also wonder what will happen in a really nasty accident...mmm...
Think you would replace the car instead.
just imagine when that window becomes damaged and needs replacing it will cost a fortune .
This car is great if it cost as much as the VW or rattled like the ford it would still be worth it,
@k956upg You've proven my point.
I liked the review but for me the Ford Fiesta is the segment Champ and has more pretty lines. VW is way expensive and for what?....
what's the deal? is fifth gear dead?
the engine on the 2009-present Citroen C3

this car would really work in australia :) (i disagree with blondeboy33)
I agree i would rather buy a vw at least you know it will last be reliable and have a better resale value.
sadly citroen broke design of this car after facelifting :/
in Australia, the Zenith windscreen would never work. Too hot here and nobody wants a glasshouse effect in their car. Very nice otherwise
I always have my visors down in cars to keep the sun/light out - this car is flooding the interior with light?
screw that
What happens if you roll the bastard with all that glass?
Is it really, really god?
Nope, it's shit.
Worst car I've ever had.
AVOID.
Quite, and if you have £13,000 to spend on a new car why would you go with a Citroen C3 when you can have a Polo SEL?

HaHaHaI bought me a 2003 spider misui
Thanks,
ugly over priced not built to last expensive parts hard to fix not reliable ugly (i know i said ugly twice but it deserves it)
Is it worth buying?
No. It's French.
