- In this video we install a simple light fitting on a one way light switch. What does that mean? Basically you turn the light off and on with the same switch. You should always take great care and precautions when working as a DIY'er and ensure you are competent prior to undertaking the task. This video is merely for demonstration and if you are unsure, you need to call a qualified electrician.
Like the quick release chocolate blocks at the 5 minute mark, must make the job so much easier.
About 30 years ago my next door neighbour fused all his lights when he connected all the red wires together, and all the black wires together in his bathroom ceiling rose. Took me ages to explain the concept of switch live to him.
Yes amazing how even some electricians struggle with lighting. Two way and intermediate comes to mind
