Tasmania Episode 3 Amazing Bay Of Fires
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 7 ก.ย. 2024
- Today we spend some more time in the Amazing Bay of Fires area of Tasmania. This place is so breathtaking with photo opportunities everywhere you look. I explored the wonderful Binalong Bay region with it's lovely orange rocks and swelling oceans before making my way to Beerbarrel Beach.
This is a secluded and somewhat sheltered area with calm beaches and more of the gorgeous rock formations. I was blessed with mostly clear skies whilst here and the experience was certainly one I'll remember for a very long time.
After a few hours at the beach I made my way back to Binalong Bay to get some nightscapes of this famous area . .I was not disappointed.

Absolutely amazing shots. Here up north (63.1°N 21.5°E) it will take a few months until there is a chance to see stars again. This week the sunrise is at 3:24 am and sunset at 11:46 pm and no darkness in between.

Once again another great virtual outing and of course stunning results. The second I saw the day-view of the tree, I knew where the composition was going to go. Hoping to take a trip myself in two weeks, so fingers crossed that the weather cooperates and I can find the right foreground location. Time for bing-watching of your videos to help refresh.
Thanks a lot for your comments Rob, and I very much appreciate you watching.

Wonderful video Richard! Such beautiful locations and your images, particularly from your second spot with that awesome tree, are stunning. I really like the vertical comp where you've got the striping on the rock leading perfectly up to the Milky Way. Tassie is definitely on my list of places to get to!
Thank you so much for watching Lisa. I really appreciate your comments.
The Binalong Bay area you shot looks fantastic at night, I have taken many photos there in the day time, a pretty spot. I also know Beer Barrel Beach and lots of spots on the Gardens road. There is a nice little beach on Sloop Rock road that is pretty as well. Glad you came to Tassy again, wonderful to see your night photography Cheers.
Thanks so much for watching Liz. If you check out my last video you'll see I shot at Sloop Rock.
Another great installment in the series Richard. Loving the drone footage.

Fantastic panoramas, greeting from Reunion Island.
I'm pleased you like them Francois.
Beautiful Richard, great decision to relocate, such a hard decision to make on a clear dark night.
Yes it always is John, but it worked out well this time.
More breathtaking capture’s! One thing you have done for me today is convince me to get the 20mm f1.8S instead of the 24mm. Thank you for taking us on this journey.
Thanks a lot John. They're both really good lenses but I find the 20mm a little more flexible with composition.
Another awesome job!
Love the effort and results!

Great video and sensational images as always Richard 👍 Your 20 shot pano was sublime 👏👏 I noticed your little video light out there in the distance - you must have had some fun climbing around in the pitch black (although it looks like that torch of yours could light up a small town!). Loving the series - all the best 👍
