Bravo to the student. I have never attempted this, but then again I have never been to a professional audition!
What an incredible benchmark in difficulty and phrasing this Don Juan is. So impressive that a teacher can communicate how to play better even at this very high level. Kudos and respect

I had to play this in a live audition on stage 2 times, and have 2 professional audition coming up within this week and next month. It must be played at concert speed, correct rhythmic momentum, finger dexterity, "dynamics"!, and accurate hitting every note while minimizing nerves that may be present to affect the performer.

@@fateindustry Good luck to you! Hopefully you can master it and bring out your musicality ⭐️
I think I will have a go at it myself. Luckily I don’t have to audition for the orchestras I play in, because I am an amateur.

@@hamwhacker Amateur/volunteer/community -even semi-professional orchestras environments are extremely laid back and are completely different worlds apart compared to auditioning for even local professional orchestras in your town or city. You get cut if you played anything that is out of rhythm, intonation, tone, style, dynamic contrast, and phrasing. Even my tapes in my channel do not pass preliminary rounds due to imperfections.
And I am not going to even get into the difficulty of passing multi-round auditions for major symphony orchestras. The fail rate is exceptionally high.

@@fateindustry Thats why I am glad that I am an amateur player and able to enjoy music freely without being under competitive scrutiny all the time. Professionals are under so much pressure, it wipes the smile off most of their faces.
