Small side note: It's only a Herta figure if the handset is RLRL. The displayed figure would then be to play L_RLR You would rather play it >R_RLR. If you start with binary and ternary divisions I would play the 8th notes in one hand. The sixteenth notes in between with the other hand. For example in bar 10. Handset only. RR RRLR RLRL R. Of course it's just one of many possibilities. The Herta is a single stroke rudiment. If you want to implant this then you have to get a little creative with the handsets.
those 16ths hit me like a train
The triplets feel like 16th notes and the 16th notes feel like triplets 💀
Felt that too
I'm not a drummer but i like your rhythm exercise🤩👍
I like those sight reading mini challenges
16th notes tripped me up lol
cool idea. off guard sight reading ☠️
Very helpful. Thx
Nice. It's a Herta figure.

Is it just me or do these sound similar to the 3:4 polyrhythm
It's actually the 2:3 but yes
@@gerardgag oh shoot you're right I'm dumb
@@besapods5539 nah mate, you could hear the polyrhythm and relate it to what was written, that's pretty damn smart
@@gerardgag thanks man
Polyrhythm? Not directly. I play binary and tenary but not in the same time frame. It is only played consecutively.
@The Planet Earth
Let’s practice 👌
