Hi Dina! Do you recommend reading all the references(papers) of the project before mailing the professor?

Hi Prativa, I think reading the references provided in the PhD advertisement is really useful way to get a good overview of the project. Don’t worry too much about the details but work on getting a good overview and main messages. If you are interested in a specific professor, I would also read their most popular work. You only need to include a short summary of why you want to work with the professor in your email but it would be useful to dive into a bit more reading if you get an interview. Hope that helps!
