David Foster Sits Down To Talk About "The Hitman Tour"

- Grammy award-winning producer David Foster is on his first US tour in over eight years. Foster who has been anointed the “Hitman” by the music industry, is calling his tour, just that, "The Hitman Tour." The tour consists of intimate evenings with one of the biggest musical forces of our time. Foster performs songs that he wrote or produced from his four decades of hits. Hits such as Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me,” Whitney Houston’s “The Bodyguard”, Earth Wind and Fire’s “After The Love Is Gone” and many, many more. The tour goes through June. Foster stopped by BUILD to speak on the tour and perform a few songs.

David Foster, you're amazing, help a producer coming up. I swear I know my production techniques, you don't care much about that, but I make clean final product. However, I'm also a good writer, although I haven't cut my teeth on too many ballads. I try not to over direct what style of song I'm doing, and I do prefer hard rock and pop. That said, a great ballad has a power like no other. Seriously, give my a micro step up. You won't be sorry.
His relationship with k seems to be symbiotic: did she use him to augment her singing career? Does he use her as an arm ornament?
