Walking Treadles on a Floor Loom: How to change the draft & tie the treadles

where did you get the apron strings?

The strings came with the loom. If you want to replace your apron with strings Texslov Loom Cord is good to use. You can find it at most weaving suppliers sold by the foot or a roll. See it here: woolery.com/weaving-accessories/heddles.html

To "walk" your treadles does this technique work on all types of floor looms? Or is it for jack looms only?

Hi, the "walking" tie-up can be used with looms that have lambs. It will not work for direct tie-up looms. So, whenever you have to tie your treadles to the lambs of the loom, you have the choice of which treadles will lift the shafts.
