Portugal, Spain and Morocco joining bids makes sense. Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay doing a joint bid makes sense. All 6 combining is mental.

They’d need to make sure the teams in these first games in South America, play their next ones in Spain. Be easier for the fans as well that. There is already regular direct flights between all South American countries and Spain. It’s well connected. I think it’s only from Madrid and Barcelona, so rhe games would need to be there. Madrid will be using two stadiums and Barcelona will be using two as well, so shouldn’t be hard to allocate that. Also these teams should be given a few extra days rest as well compared to others. It can certainly be made easier logistically, but doesn’t get away from the fact it’s still a long flight, and I imagine expensive as well. Also different time zones. But it is only 3 games and the first ones. South America are only hosting around 2% of the games.

I thought the whole point of hosting a World Cup is to have the privilege of showing off your own country's culture, facilities, and obviously making a bag of bunce. Having it hosted by several countries merely waters it down for the hosts...and makes it uber expensive for the fans.

No country wants to host a world cup all by itself because they see the mess Brazil got themselves into. The WC would cease to exist if it didn't span multiple countries.

Football stopped being for the every day person a while back, they talk about letting more fans and countries experience it but really with so few games only the rich and ultra wealthy will get tickets as well as the "influencers" and youtubers. The people who actually go to games regularly will probably not get tickets it's a product now not a sport.

Strange decision on the face of it, but not when you consider by having the WC2030 in South America, Europe & Africa, means by FIFA's own rules the following WC cannot be in the continent of the previous tournament.
Meaning the 2034 WC can only be in Asia, Australia/NZ or the middle east.
Considering after the Qatar WC FIFA said yes why not Saudi Arabia for a WC, now like a photograph slooshing around in a tray of chemicals, in a darkroom lit only by a redlight, the true picture is becoming clearer & clearer.

If im sponsoring Utds kit I want my sponsorship being viewed for a set amount of months not all squashing together and I also think even before that world cup players in the Prem wasnt committing to their games because they didnt want to pick up an injury before the world cup and then they all come back and have to restart the season its a disaster for our leagues and it will only mean teams like Man City will be the ones always there because of the strength of the squad. Just don’t travel to the World Cup in 2030. Watch it at home on TV instead. Indeed, maybe just don’t travel at all to any World Cup in future, and watch it at home or in the local park, pub, etc. or, if people are so worried about their carbon footprint, then don’t hold the World Cup at all in future. The same applies to any other sporting or other international event. There is no way you can make travel totally environmentally friendly at all, certainly for long distances, as there are no alternatives to fossil fuels at all, and certainly not in the near future.
And installing air conditioning in huge buildings like football stadia must have a huge carbon footprint as well.

No, that’s just not true. The football on the pitch was some of the best we’ve seen, but the fan experience of fans who attended the world cup was mediocre at best. I’m assuming from your response you weren’t there?
From a fan’s perspective at the event itself, Germany and Brazil far exceeded Qatar, which at times felt soulless. It is probably unfair to expect Qatar to have compared to Germany and Brazil - they are hotbeds of football heritage, full of entertainment, excellent public transport and there was so much to do in the time away from the matches.
