Actually most brazilians I knew were rooting for Argentina this time. Mostly because of Messi but also because they wanted to see the cup coming back to South America.
Look at Brazil, they were the better team & lost but you don't hear narratives from young players or players saying "we were the better team", to them... winning was an actual goal & not just PR mouth piece. Players apologized & promised to improve, to do better... how can you not see why England has not won any international trophy compared to Brazil? The culture/expectation to win.

All due respect, Brazil have been just as guilty as anybody else about whining when close matches don't go their way. It's just that when there's a longer history of winning tournaments, you have more psychological leeway. For everybody else around that level, there's as many tournaments with good breaks as there are with bad ones. England seldom gets those good breaks, Kane's penalty rebound in the Euro semis is the only one I can think of in the last 56 years.
i suspect if you read national media of any country it all reads the same, hence why fans cry, players are outed and mangers abort

Richarlison is a sub for tottenham, a low block counter attacking team that have struggled against most opposition this season, just about scraping points. The only manager at the moment that can do better for Brazil is Guardiola and he has said in the past that he would like to manage them. Brazil FA have made the changes for the league to copy the EPL model but it'll take time. Guardiola or Mourinho would be my choice to manage them.

Pep would make them great attacking/possession wise and Mourinho has always played the defensive counter pressing football which requires role specific players which Brazil have and he would also find a proper target man type of striker which Brazil lacked at the world cup and with Jose, he'll make them hard to beat

I'm perfectly alright with Argentina winning this World Cup, Maradona is long gone from the side and not even around to be in the stadium. Messi lifting that trophy just feels right, although France are definitely favourites.

I think Brazil has taken a backward step in fitness and conditioning. Because when you see the likes of Ronaldo, Cafu, Romario, Rivaldo, etc, they used to be well-built and could also play physical style if they needed to and would also last a tournament. It is glaring to see that whenever they play disciplined and physical European competitions, they struggle and then injuries happen. Croatia went to penalties with Japan and yet it was Brazilian players pulling up with cramps, and I did not even know that Richarlison was that badly injured to play. So I think they need to go back on physical program and conditioning because the approach is not working.

I’ll tell you this that Brazil team is not as great as people thing. Compare this team to 2002. Brazil have no proper LB and RB like at previous competitions In 2002 they had a ball playing midfielder ( Edmilson) next to a destroyer (Gilberto Silva ). The next major failing of this team is they don’t have a center forward that’s leads a league in scoring. Let me list previous forwards from my era….. Careca, Romario , Bebeto, R9 , Adriano … even Luis Fabiano was a better stricker than Richarlison and G Jesus. Brazil will always be favourites but on analysis how they have fallen.

They played really well all tournament and dominated the Croatia game, created loads of chances. Croatia's GK had the game of his life. Then they did something insane in the last few minutes. 9/10 they win that game. That's cup football.

"Fake Brazil" are not the great Samba-playing Brazilian football teams of old. At no point did this Brazilian side play like the Brazilian sides I was in love with.....with players like Eder, Zico. Junior, Falco, Ronaldo, Romario, Ronaldhinho. This was a boring Brazilian side full of fake pretenders like Neymar . We all know that a proper Brazilian side would never have Richarlson in it.

@@zvonimirspajic7793 Neymar blows players like Falco and Eder out of the water by every measure. 🤣 Ronaldo is why Brazil lost in '98 and only won a World Cup because he was lucky to be born into a great side, surrounded by Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Lucio etc.
Neymar's character is fine. He does a hell of a lot more running for his team than flabby Ronaldo ever did. And "character" obviously wasn't his interest, nor is it yours, as his criticism of Richarlison displays. Richarlison is an absolute workhorse, one of the best defensive forwards in the world.
Again, just say you hate Neymar. Let it all out. 77 goals, 56 assists in 124 caps and as technically gifted and creative as any Brazilian before him.
