Boomer has been around football too long to not know about delusional fans. The only thing I expected this year was for the Giants to play those game they're contractually obligated to play. This is a 2-15 level team. Has been since the draft. The depressing part is this team isn't close to turning anything around. They literally have no viable QB on roster right now, haven't at any point this year. The homer fans go into each year, ignoring the team's flaws and expect the Super Bowl. Spoiler alert homers, the Giants might be 5-12 next year .....
I mean Daboll vs Wink wasn't great plus he never takes accountability for the offense being bad. The GM is an absolute idiot. WHo gives the division rival a top 3 RB in the league for just $2 milly more than what you wanted to pay him?!!?!? Imagine the Eagles turmoil this year if they didn't have Saquon....
Gio is really just an entertainer. His take on sports is a lot like his pal, Licata. They are degenerate gamblers and fans. They have no inside knowledge. They don't talk to anyone in the front office of any team. They don't talk to players in the locker room. They just sit behind a microphone in a studio and give opinions. Plus they last played the game in High School so their knowledge of what it is really like to play at the highest level, just isn't there. Their criticisms mean very little because they have no clue.
