- Get_Right might be the greatest Counter-Strike player in history. His game sense and skill across multiple incarnations of the game are unmatched.
But despite his incredible ability - despite his unbelievable success, Get Right is also a player that has experienced more losses and more upsets than almost any other pro. He’s seen it all, from roster disputes to poor placements, to personal illness - and through that adversity he’s still remained dedicated to Counter-Strike.
He still loves the game that gave him everything, more than anyone else.
This is his story.

His tears at Cologne 2019 shows it all...no NiKo, Olofmeister, or s1mple is ever coming close to what GeT_RiGhT did for Nip and competitive CSGO.
763 maybe they are good but GeT_RiGhT is a legend he is one of the best players and he did do very much for NIP and the comp scene and s1mple hasnt done so much to the comp scene in cs go

Get_RighT was so good that Bomman , a Vietnamese CSGO player that used to play in DungBeoGaming team ( you can search this team on HLTV ) and also one of the best Vietnamese CSGO casters and streamers at the moment, became one of his fans. He loved him so much that he even casted one-way to NiP ( with the condition of having Get_RighT in the team ) in any matches which NiP played against another team. He could cheer NiP whenever NiP won but he could also scold NiP whenever NiP lost lol. One day , Bomman swore that he would get a wife if NiP with Get_RighT won the Major. Every CSGO player has waited for the day NiP win the Major for a very long time but the dream never comes true. That's why in Vietnam, Get_RighT is also called " Get_Wife " lmao. Get_RighT is also called Get_Rice whenever Bomman plays very badly in CSGO and lets his opponent kill him. Bomman is also famous because of his toxicity and his " speaking " skill whenever he wins ( Just like when you say " GG EZ " whenever you win but even more terrible than that. One of his quotes which he uses whenever he wins even become the best meme in Vietnam's CSGO history and even Vietnam's Sports and eSports' history ). When Get_RighT slams the table , Vietnamese CSGO players always compare that action with Bomman when slamming the table lol.

He has inspired me to keep going and fight life adversities so much, and still does. As you said he is not only the incredibly skilled, he really has an strong mind to keep fighting every day. I'm in a Csgo Team and I have regular equipment and PC to play and I can afford a better one, but I will always keep trying all thanks to The Timeless Relic, Get_Right
GeT_RiGhT is such a legend, along with f0rest obviously. Nowadays we have s1mple, N1ko, possibly Zywoo, but some of the players back then will never be forgotten.
GeT_RiGhT, f0rest, olof, coldzera, s1mple, dev1ce, N1ko, Neo are some of the greatest players to ever touch the game. I hope we will see a lot more of the ones who are still playing.

GeT_RiGhT is and always will be my favorite personality, player, and person. I find myself coming back to this video a lot of times, remembering his past career and how much he has been through. Especially now when it is uncertain whether he will continue his career. I wish I could always see him playing on stage until he doesn’t want too anymore but things don’t always work out like that. I will always look back at these videos long after he’s done with cs.
The guy is one of the greatest no questions asked. Such dedication only comes from the truly great. I really hope he wins some more majors. But either way his legacy is set in stone. It is undeniable ❤️

I remember when my brother bought me CS:GO for my birthday when it released. I was so happy. He started talking about the game and it's competitive scene. I remember when I asked him who his favourite player was and what was his favourite team. It was GeT_RiGhT and NIP. I didn't fully understand it back then, but now I do.
I don't play csgo but their stories are freaking amazing. Any story behind a pro player behind of every game is amazing to me. Their journey, downfall success is amazing! I used to play cs back when I was a kid but stopped cuz my PC broke.

What I like about GeT_RiGhT is how his skill is easy to be implemented for any newbie player. Even I use his 1.6 technique when playing on 1.6 online server. Even I ever in the clutch situation (1v8, 1v9, so on), I'm replicating his spray skill. And the result is, sometimes I win, but sometime I lost.
But overall, I play 1.6 for fun and refreshment only.
I'll not give up waiting for the story of SmithZz.

Dead Meme Been watching cs since before you were born. What prime? You must be one of those hardcore fanboys who thinks good aim = good player. These videos are for legends of the game, people with great achievements that will be remembered for a long time. Olofmeister, GuardiaN, KennyS, S1mple, FalleN. Putting ScreaM among these names is a god damn joke. Maybe when they have made alot more of these videos about people that actually deserves them he can get his own video, but there are sooooo many names in pro cs that deserves their video before him.
