I used lenovo k3 note for 4 years droped countless times in different positions not even a scratch but august 2018 bought redmi note 5 pro. After 3 months of use, i was keeping phn in my font packet in a hurry and it slipped and fell down and glass broken. 😐 It cost like 4 to 5k in redmi service. outside like 3k i guess. So yeah these phones are so delicate.

This is really disappointing. Honor play's screen did better in durability test. Poco F1 is still better option than honor play performance wise if you use it carefully and a tempered glass should protect it's screen.
In real life user experience I don't think so that there would be much difference between Poco phone and honor play. Only difference is in stats which are theoretical not practical.

The Honor can't unlock the Bootloader, so you're stuck with their shitty EMUI software. No more Huawei Phones until you can unlock their bootloader again.

Long time ago, I dropped my honor play at the same height unfortunately. Thank god. Nothing happened to my device. Only the tempered glass got broken. Luck should be with us
The problem is, plastic is semi brittle material and glass is brittle material so some sort of cushioning may protect the glass from absorption of impact. In the other hand, plastics are excellent impact transmission substance so majority of drop impact in swifted to glass itself.
Choosing plastic is not the wrong decision but they poco team forgot the property of polycarbonate aka plastic.
The rubber mesh or rubber casing is must between the glass and plastic frame which is presented @ at every nokia lumia that are durable.
BTW, poco will not last long!!!

Honor play will also break because it don't have frame to absorb shock. Honor play has unibody construction which means its more prone to screen damage than any sandwich design.

Received my Poco F1 today and after using it for an hour, I can say it is a great phone. Superb screen, great cameras (both front and back), good sound quality, and no lag. For Rs. 21k, Poco F1 is a BLOCKBUSTER phone. I am using iPhone 6s and considering its current price (Rs. 32k) 6s looks outdated in terms of everything (screen, camera, sound, fingerprint speed). iPhone X can beat Poco but considering the price difference (89k vs 20k), Poco F1 will give more bang for your buck. So go for it if you are looking to buy a phone under 25k. As far as durability is concerned, it is similar if not better than a glass back phone. These days if you drop any phone from 5 feet, it is going to shatter the front screen 9/10 times. Cheers.

Not a heavy duty tool or hammer or some military grade armoured device which is used in heavy gun fire and armoured bombing in war, Its a commercial device and supposed to have a min amount of durability. Bahi kon phone ko sabji ki tarah katega. Kon phone ko pura pani main gira dega. Jaise in bahi ne shuru main chacku leke katna shuru kiya. Its majak yaar.....really really exaggerated durabilty test. Kya yaar presentation mein badi badi fek rhe the glass backs pe bhi log case use karte hai aur abhi ye 8.88m mota plastic ke phone pe case laga k aur mota karna padega.. Ab toh plastic k phone pe bhi case lagana padega kya time agya hai. I was planning to purchase this on September 5 next sale.

Most Xiaomi phones come with a weaker glass although their specifications are good but if you drop it then most of the times Xiaomi phones will have their glass crack.
I prefer a mid range processor with good quality overall as that fits my requirement, some people may prefer the poco f1 due to its performance and processing power.

Absolutely real guys.. lemme tell you my story too... I went on to a trip with friends and I kept my phone in the front drawer (one in front of front passenger seat) while we were at about 40km/hr.. not so fast so it should have not got serious shocks.. but when I took it out of drawer i found a web on main screen... Though I applied cheaper tempered glass and cover provided in box.. cover is shit.. i wanted to buy new one but it was barely 3days old and I was searching a good case. Anyhow screen replacement is not available... New display with gst cost about 6000rs in total... Don't apply 360cases.. apply normal case with shock absorber at corners and 6d tampered glass mandatory.. still phone is 🔥.. and yes camera recording is STABLEat 4k/60fps.. NO OIS NEEDED.

If yes then enjoy your full view display... talking about cover.. yes we are now finally getting covers too who provide near full protection... This is my i guess 5th cover and I dropped my phone twice but no damage only 1 small line on 6d glass.... My cover is simple transparent but extra bump over camera and more mass on top and bottom.. only buttons are superficial.
