Welcome back to Skypothesis! We've fished this build out of the depths for y'all. We're going to try to release a build every month for a while here, but we had this guy ready a bit earlier than planned so we thought "why not post him now?" Hope you all enjoy this fishing adventure 💙🤍🎣 Build clarification: there is a known exploit where you can use a calm spell or scroll on the merchant who sells stendarr’s aura during the raid on fort dawnguard, enabling you to get the spell even as a Volkihar vampire. Apologies for not including that in the video!
Absolutely love the eldritch theme on this build! The special moves are very fitting too! This video actually made Skyrim look like a game adaptation for Dagon and the Deep Ones. Awesome stuff!
This is one of the most creative builds I've seen for Skyrim, if not THE most creative. I won't lie, I always just glossed over the fishing from the anniversary edition, but you guys have made it a really cool focal point for a really unique character. Thank you as always for sharing this build! I always have the most fun playing Skyrim as one of y'all's builds, and I'm already excited to start up a new save file for this one!
I love this build, it really gives of that 'Lovecraftian Dredge Fisherman' Vibe... I think he would definitely take over the Dead Man's Dread 'House' too! I imagine him speaking like an old mariner just the man before he becomes that ominous lighthouse keeper on a foggy island in the sea of ghosts!
This is such an insanely creative way of approaching a fishing themed build, and the armor combo looks awesome as well. Your builds are really some of the best out there.
Love this one especially. As a fan of all things Lovecraftian it's always nice to see an Elditch Horror theme! (This may even supplant the Oblivion Sentinel as my favourite of your builds!)
you guys are easily the most creative build account ive ever seen. once i saw u guys returned i thought to myself "how can they possibly make any more unique builds after they've done soo many?!" and yet here you are with probably the most creative one yet! i dont care if its just a video game, the story telling and visuals you guys put together is a talent in of itself. i am sooo happy skypothesis is back and my notifications are on :)
incredible build especially on the theming you probably already know this cause there’s no way this was an accident but i’ll leave this comment for people who don’t. Hermaous mora is probably the closest thing the elder scrolls has to an ocean god not just because he and his realm have the aesthetics of lovecraft but also because in the elder scrolls water represents and stores memories and knowledge hence why the god of knowledge has sea imagery to the point that khajiit and even some bosmer tribes believe that apocrapha is actually located at the bottom of the ocean
Surprised that no one has made a build using the warlocks ring and auriel's shield yet, like serious you are basically putting spellbreaker's unique effect on another unique shield.
Thanks to your builds I took inspiration for my own dwemer roleplay build. I’m really glad that you’re back with new fresh builds. Keep continue spreading your creativity and a big thank you.
This was a fantastic build and character. Easily the best I've seen in all my years of watching Skyrim videos. I don't roll with a full vanilla list but the theme and character will make for a fantastic playthrough no matter the load order.
Mighty fine! Hats off to y'all for your creativity, definitely inspiring me to give Skyrim a try again. Been wanting to recreate ESO'S Dragonknight for a while.
even if i dont have any plans to play skyrim i watch this channel all the time because it really feels like watching little mini skyrim movies and I LOVE IT
I love that he follows mora. Mora definitely looks like a black kracken, and his minions look like deep sea creatures. I think you could also use the pirate ship house and have deektrus as a follower. Before you get your armor you could use armor you got from fishing for roleplay.
Heavy H.P Lovecraft vibes. Imagine a quest mod that takes you through a quasi Lovecraft story. Full of cultists, intrigue and an island sized seeker as a Cthulhu big-bad!
You should try to make some survival builds, i think trying to tie roleplaying and survival together even in just one building from each class ( fighter, mate and rogue) world be a great challenge and a lot of fun
Y'all are back in my life and I love it❤ life been real tough lately so it's nice to just escape in a healthier way with your stories. I know it ain't miracle work but y'all are doing good in this world
Good morning and thank you for another build I didn’t consider before! (BTW, y’all inspired me to make an Argonian warrior who utilizes alchemy to augment her strength. I had never focused on alchemy before, and enjoyed what it had to offer. So thank you!)
Most unique build on TH-cam 🙏 glad everything is working out for you guys and you're able to put out videos again! I was having a fuckin atrocious day until now 😂
This is an awesome hybrid Creation! I never would have thought of this! I love Vampire builds! Very well done! The story for this character is beyond awesome! I can't wait for more!
If I do this build, I’ll switch out the Wood Elf for an Argonian I love those lizard boiz and this feels like it fits an Argonian character better imo Love these builds as always my dudes!
Your guy's creativity is unmatched and im so glad you're back, my roommate and I have always taljed about a dnd character that was just a fisherman tempted by the eldritch horror of the ocean so this build is particularly exciting for me, so excited to see more to come ❤
All the years I’ve had the Anniversary content and I never wanted to mess with the fishing until you guys made this build. Your work is truly keeping this game alive for all of us.
A new one already?! You guys are the best! It'll be nice to play a character that fishes a lot. The only other characters off the top of my head I would go fishing with were the Wood Orc and the Ghost of Atmora.
I understand that creating a unique character is somewhat hard Because one needs to come up with the character's backstory and appearance in order to make the roleplay enjoyable But is there any way to roleplay as a Greybeard or someone who inspires to become one Like a shoutmaster for example if yes then what would be their backstory or more importantly their equipment (apparel, weapons etc)
Glad you guys are back! But there's still one issue (I have) about your videos. The WHEN. When do you start the Fishing Questline? After recovering the DragonStone and spawning the Dragons? Just after you leave Helgan, making a B-Line to it? When do you head to the College? After Discerning the transmundane? before? After talking to the Grey Beards? When do you start the Dawnguard quest to become a Vampire? As soon as it spawns? after a certain point???? When do you do half these things? When you reach a certain level? or when a skill reaches a certain level? This is the one issue I have, for me, is that without clear start, pause, finish lines everything just becomes a jumbled mess of quest hopping.
In general we like to get kitted out in our gear as fast as possible then start the quests. But we like to leave it up to the player because everyone has different preferences
This may be my new favorite build of y’all’s, utilizing my favorite content from AE, the fishing. It’s giving Dredge vibes and I’ll be starting my own go at this soon. I’m eager to set up campsites at these fishing locations and delve into some of my favorite lore books. I love the suggestion of mage/candlelight and may swap the staff for a Falmer shield on occasion. You can also use the Ring of Kynareth to change the atmosphere to something more appropriately dreary! 🦑
I loooove this build! I've been meaning to do the whole fishing questline, and I'll definitely do it with this guy. I always loved themes of the ocean and occult, like with the whale bone witches of Dishonored. Can't wait to do this and build an aquarium in his hearthfire home too!
CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE do another build like the ninth priest where they have different phases of their journey and their gear changes as they progress? that one was sooo much fun to play because of that!! more dynamic builds please!! :O i mean ill adore literally anything you guys post but the way the ninth priest impacted me was just so cool lol ill always remember that one :)
As awesome as I thought Fudgemuppet’s builds were these blow them away! Subscribed! Could be cool to do a character build based on each hold. Another cool one would be one for each aedra and daedra
I would love to see you guys do a bard build with the new college expansion that’s on the mod market. I love your builds you make with the beautiful edits. Thank you guys for all you do. Keep Skyrim alive.
It would be cool, since BCE is arguably on the level of official DLC, but wouldn't fit the approach of focusing on vanilla and using that as a constraint. I think the Bards College would actually suit the Angler's nature, and even in vanilla there's the instrument fetching for widespread skill boosts. In the Expanded content, the Draconic Knowledge perk would help his skills further, he'd face a dragon in a fitting location, and he could take an interest in the duels of wit.
Pretty incredible build, probably one of the most distinct I've seen from anyone. It makes the Bloodworm helm work (and without Dragonplate), and the rest of the look comes together really well. It puts focus on a part of AE I haven't really dived into at all, and it's a case of a vampire using Restoration that I don't mind. 😲In fact, I really like the rationale and description of him using that particular school. Necromage doesn't seem as much of a power-gaming move here since the gear isn't functionally the best. I agree with the comment that complimented the writing for this video; there's some nice alliteration and figurative language. And the puns. 🙂It kinda fits the eclectic character himself -- strange and wild-looking yet inquisitive, scholarly in a way, maybe even poetic. The concept reminds me of the Wooded Eye, just more watery. Oh, and I like that the advice about using Waters of Life ends up being a special move. The Oblivion Sentinel callback is bittersweet for me, since I love that build too, but despite a few attempts haven't played all the way through. Decisions, decisions.
Also, if you want to make the build even better, you can find pre-enchanted chitin boots with various interesting effects for the Angler. Some boots enchanted with Fortifiy One-Handed or Resist Fire could be very useful, not to mention that their effect would be also buffed with the 2x necromage vampire exploit
Another idea for a special move which feels fitting for this character is to place a shock rune, go invisible (either through spell or vampire ability) and then use throw voice, before appearing out of seemingly thin air and finishing them off (if the rune doesn't kill them).
Welcome back to Skypothesis! We've fished this build out of the depths for y'all. We're going to try to release a build every month for a while here, but we had this guy ready a bit earlier than planned so we thought "why not post him now?" Hope you all enjoy this fishing adventure 💙🤍🎣

These builds are great! Try not to burn out. Looking forward to the next.
Thank you!
Thanks for another great build, and may you and yours have a merry Christmas
You guys are onto something are you not
WE LOVE YOU! (AND YOUR BUILDS)! :)
Candlelight usage would fit nicely as the angler fish lure that almost seems to float above their heads in dark water.
Dang, can’t believe we didn’t think of that!! Amazing idea!
Magelight would also work, to lure enemies to a rune spell.
But how would it lure them in?@@Malkontent1003
@@Skypothesis Artifacts of Skyrim I believe has a Diver's Ring which gives waterbreathing and Candlelight while submerged
Drops the hardest fishing build. Refuses to elaborate. Leaves
We like to fish
Oh we back back
We are back😊
This is why i love this channel. You managed to take fishing and make a hermaeus mora worshipper from it just masterclass of creativity.
Now you're just spoiling us. Glad to have you back!
We fished out a hearty boon and had to share it
Absolutely love the eldritch theme on this build! The special moves are very fitting too! This video actually made Skyrim look like a game adaptation for Dagon and the Deep Ones. Awesome stuff!
That was exactly the vibe we were going for! Thanks!
It feels surreal (in a good way) to get regular uploads again. Keep 'em going!
This one might have one of the best aesthetics to date!
Thank you!! They’ll probably be spaced out to more like a video a month or so but we got this guy done ahead of schedule :)
It’s worth a dedicated playthrough for sure, it’s a super fun change of pace
A bosmer fisherman following old Herma Mora ... its a perfect fit.
Please never leave us again
This is such an insanely creative way of approaching a fishing themed build, and the armor combo looks awesome as well. Your builds are really some of the best out there.
Thanks so much!!
Man, I'm falling for this build hook, line, and sinker! Look forward to see what else you guys are cooking up
You two are my all-time favorite build channel. no offense to fudge Muppet, but the creations you make are truly unique.
The armor combo looks so good, i love the fashion you guys come up with.
Love this one especially. As a fan of all things Lovecraftian it's always nice to see an Elditch Horror theme! (This may even supplant the Oblivion Sentinel as my favourite of your builds!)
Mornin'! Nice day for fishing ain't it?!
It's always a nice day for fishing
Baelin quote? Vldl? 🤪
@@ryanwilliamson5714Huh ha!
This is one of the strangest yet most interesting builds you guys have ever made. Well done!
It was fished out of a strange tide. Thanks!!
One of my favorite channels ever, so happy builds are back!
Thanks!
Thank you SO much!! 💙 🤍 The support means everything to us!
you guys are easily the most creative build account ive ever seen. once i saw u guys returned i thought to myself "how can they possibly make any more unique builds after they've done soo many?!" and yet here you are with probably the most creative one yet! i dont care if its just a video game, the story telling and visuals you guys put together is a talent in of itself. i am sooo happy skypothesis is back and my notifications are on :)

The Bloodworm Helm in Skyrim looks like it could have been fashioned from a Lurker's skull.
I cannot tell you how good it is to have you guys back!
incredible build especially on the theming you probably already know this cause there’s no way this was an accident but i’ll leave this comment for people who don’t. I can’t believe it, I’ve witnessed two skypothesis builds in less than a month difference between eachother, I’ve missed this channel.
I hate fishing in Skyrim, but this is actually very interesting. Perhaps I'll try fishing again.
This was atmospheric af! I love it! You guys came back strong and it's awesome to see!
Surprised that no one has made a build using the warlocks ring and auriel's shield yet, like serious you are basically putting spellbreaker's unique effect on another unique shield.
I feel like an Argonian would work well too, they already have a lot of water themes.
Thanks to your builds I took inspiration for my own dwemer roleplay build. I’m really glad that you’re back with new fresh builds. Keep continue spreading your creativity and a big thank you.
That's great to hear!
This probably the most unique build I’ve ever seen
We fished it out of strange tides
This was a fantastic build and character. Easily the best I've seen in all my years of watching Skyrim videos. I don't roll with a full vanilla list but the theme and character will make for a fantastic playthrough no matter the load order.
I hope you’re not fishing for compliments. I’ve got to say I’m hooked on your content. You’re a real catch.
Mighty fine! Hats off to y'all for your creativity, definitely inspiring me to give Skyrim a try again. Been wanting to recreate ESO'S Dragonknight for a while.
GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL, its you and me, fishing is my destiny! Fishingrim!
You guys really make me wish I could up my roleplaying skills to get even close to your level.
Ayyy a Fevvy shout out is amazing. This build is great
even if i dont have any plans to play skyrim i watch this channel all the time because it really feels like watching little mini skyrim movies and I LOVE IT
I'll predict what the build is about before watching this.
The dude loves fishing so much he becomes a vampire so that he can fish forever.
What an absolutely incredible build. Subscribed
I love that he follows mora. Mora definitely looks like a black kracken, and his minions look like deep sea creatures. I think you could also use the pirate ship house and have deektrus as a follower. Before you get your armor you could use armor you got from fishing for roleplay.

Boys been cooking!!! And I'm here for it. Keep up the good work fellow Dovahkiin.
Cannot wait for more builds to try out ❤
Glad to see you back would love to see something like an inventor or something akin to dracula
Absolutely love the level of depth you guys go to. You have fully increased my game in any character creation I do for any game.
Y'all are back in my life and I love it❤ life been real tough lately so it's nice to just escape in a healthier way with your stories. I know it ain't miracle work but y'all are doing good in this world
vibes go hard on this one! glad to have you back
Hell yeah! Glad to see you guys back ^^
Can't wait to try this out! I never even knew you could fish! Thanks you two!
Good morning and thank you for another build I didn’t consider before!
(BTW, y’all inspired me to make an Argonian warrior who utilizes alchemy to augment her strength. I had never focused on alchemy before, and enjoyed what it had to offer. So thank you!)
Man this build is just awesome! Yall are too good at these and I am so glad to you two back at it again!
Most unique build on TH-cam 🙏 glad everything is working out for you guys and you're able to put out videos again! I was having a fuckin atrocious day until now 😂
I only found your channel recently. But you quickly became my favorite TH-camr for Skyrim builds. Keep up the good work, and thank you for
It is just awesome you’re back guys and two videos within so short time 🙏🏻🙏🏻keep it up.

This is so cool! I've never seen a fishing build before and I love the creativity that went into it. Glad you're back!!
Such a cool looking build. So glad you're back making videos again
Love love love skypothesis! Always brings me back to good ol Skyrim
If I do this build, I’ll switch out the Wood Elf for an Argonian
I love those lizard boiz and this feels like it fits an Argonian character better imo
Love these builds as always my dudes!
Yep - this is the missing piece that I was looking for a couple of my own builds I wanted to put together. I’m excited!

That’s a dope idea for a dnd character!
Nice to see you back !
It's good to have you guys back
Im so glad you guys are back lol 2 incredible ideas immediately
This is one of the most unique builds ive seen. also the boiled chitin set from immersive armors would also complement this build well
All the years I’ve had the Anniversary content and I never wanted to mess with the fishing until you guys made this build. Your work is truly keeping this game alive for all of us.
That's the goal!! Thanks for the love!
Shoutout to angler, gotta be one of my favourite skyrim builds
A new one already?! You guys are the best! It'll be nice to play a character that fishes a lot. The only other characters off the top of my head I would go fishing with were the Wood Orc and the Ghost of Atmora.
Man I'm so happy that you're back uploading now🎉

Thanks so much!!
Obrigado!
Blessings of the divines upon you! Thanks for helping us keep the magic alive 💙 🤍
I love the conversation shots, with the little crab somewhere in the frame wigglin around
Glad you liked the little fella!
I understand that creating a unique character is somewhat hard

Wow, ya'll cooked hard with this build, this was enough for me to reinstall Skyrim and give this a whirl to enjoy and relax (and fish).
I was thinking about Skypothesis as soon as I realized it’s Friday! Thanks for all the work throughout the years lads
Happy Skyday Friday!
Glad you guys are back! But there's still one issue (I have) about your videos. The WHEN.

Looooooove Dredge
I loooove this build! I've been meaning to do the whole fishing questline, and I'll definitely do it with this guy. I always loved themes of the ocean and occult, like with the whale bone witches of Dishonored. Can't wait to do this and build an aquarium in his hearthfire home too!
You’ll love the fishing questline
Yes! Got it in ten minutes finally!
Musta been wearing the Boots of Blinding Speed
Great stuff loving the return
Keep ‘em coming! ❤
CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE do another build like the ninth priest where they have different phases of their journey and their gear changes as they progress? that one was sooo much fun to play because of that!! more dynamic builds please!! :O
i mean ill adore literally anything you guys post but the way the ninth priest impacted me was just so cool lol ill always remember that one :)
2 builds in a week? You’re spoiling us! I love the idea of a badass fisherman.
We had this one ready to go a little earlier than planned :D
Another build! This is great. It isn't even this long ago since you two uploaded your last one.
I'm so excited on the future uploads, it's been so long since you stop uploading, I miss your vid.
As awesome as I thought Fudgemuppet’s builds were these blow them away! Subscribed!
Could be cool to do a character build based on each hold.
Another cool one would be one for each aedra and daedra
Oh man this sounds like a great chill playthrough for the switch!
It would also likely create a demand for more modded builds.
Mods can augment the builds, though.
Sheesh I didn’t know it was gonna be like this when you came back fellas 🫡🙌
Thank you, Skypothesis ❤
the sweet return of skypothesis fridays!
Damn, you were sorely missed, glad your back
Also, if you want to make the build even better, you can find pre-enchanted chitin boots with various interesting effects for the Angler.
Guys, I haven't finished my snow blade build and y'all come out with this slick build?😂
